Fair enough then. So might end up higher then. I guess it depends on the entire platform. Would still be quite fun though
They do seem to guide a lot better at close range
However, they do sometimes still fly right over the target despite having a perfectly fine lock
Around 1/4 to 1/3 of my ALARMS missed when firing at between 5-10km, which is an improvement but still unreliable, especially considering the AI targets are static and don’t turn their RADAR off at all

So when will they add these into the game
When the sun explodes.

Just got a little feedback for the aiming point system now it works
I do wonder what exactly is the difference between the 11.3 BR SU-39 getting 25MPUs and say, the hawk 200 RDA getting a pair of Alarms? Especially given the significantly less carry capacity the Hawk 200 has? While ALARM is “better”, it would be off set by the Hawk 200 not being amazing in and of itself and limited in weapons (picking either air to air or air to ground at that point, discounting 2 defensive wing tip 9Ls).
I get Tornado GR1 being a no due to it being a way better platform for mobility and carry weight, but just something I was thinking on.
If they deem the 10.7 and 11.3 aircraft’s radar warning receivers far too overpowered, then why don’t they hand out AGM-88 missiles as a substitute to compensate for missing alarms? Meanwhile the harrier GR7, tornado F3 late and harrier FA2 still get zero radar warning gear at all. This kind of blatant double standard is nothing new for them.

The group is led from the German Navy flagship, FGS Sachsen, and includes contributions from Allied nations, including the Portuguese warship NRP Dom Francisco de Almeida. SNMG1 operates across the North Atlantic, Arctic, and Baltic regions, providing a continuous maritime presence to support security, deterrence, and stability in Northern European waters.
25s are pretty terrible, to the point they may as well not be considered. You would have a greater case comparing 31s found on the su39, aside from the fact they’re limited by the seeker you opt for. ALARM provides a lot more versatility. Success rate of ALARM exceeds 25s considerably in my testing.
Though I am of the mind ARMs should be added where possible to provide more arguments to bring air defences lower to ratings that could benefit from them.
Good idea, given that they did this in the past with skyflash missiles for Gripen and other planes iirc have had similar changes.
ARM not RWR, but I agree. Though i still don’t understand why 2x ALARM at 11.7 would be game breaking
(I don’t see why 4 would be actually)
And even then, even after all that, I don’t understand why they don’t just make the SP really high and then we can use them in air modes
I accidentally wrote RWR instead of ALARM because I wasn’t paying attention while using a translator… Gaijin’s balancing is an absolute joke. Between 10.3 and 11.3 BR, NATO’s mostly stuck with Roland and Stinger for air defense, while Russia already has usable anti-radiation missiles at 11.0. I doubt two ALARMs can even break through the defenses of Tunguska and Pantsir-S1.Giving us AGM-88s would make it way easier for us to deal with all these OP AA vehicles.
2S6, probably not, Pantsir no chance
the Tornado GR.1 in the 11.7 bracket still has to go up against the Pantsir-SM, this absolute balance-breaker.It’s already tough going up against the Pantsir-S1, but still stand a fighting chance.
I don’t see the case for any count being game breaking. If you take a tonne of them, you’re effectively only capable of targeting SPAA. Not to mention these aircraft do not have the features needed to make ARMs oppressive.
2 can, provided loosed with other munitions. But these aircraft cannot really do that all too well. There’s not really a good case to limit them, tbch.
Dealing with AA is already a tough chore as it is. Do they really think handing anti-radiation missiles to 11.7 aircraft would cripple Russia’s ability to suppress NATO CAS around this BR bracket?
Yeah, they are keeping it at 11.3 ,where its used at 11.7 vs 12.3 SPAAs constantly. Its the most absurd argument they have ever done. On-par with “The Tornado GR1 needs weaker engines to make a feeling of progression with the GR4”
Yeah, that would be my core argument too, but you have to remember that then the Pantsir might not be as OP anymore as a Tornado GR1 with more than 5 ALARM would probably hard counter it quite easily, but alas, that is against the ToS
