British Weapon Systems - Technical data and discussion

Does JAGM-MR have MITL?

If not, no idea.

Though always Brimstone for LOAL

I was thinking maybe Sea Venom missile could be a thing perhaps, but IDK how effective it would be in WT.

Though would require Wildcat to be added?

It probably would. but would be a really niche weapon system for it.

No idea how theyd balance it though. Its an 11.7 ish heli at 13.0 because it could have 4x MITL missiles

I guess they will just give Spike NLOS for most nations without MITL. Pretty weak missile but there aren’t really any other options.

Wildcat could have Spike NLOS as well, since it’s integrated for Korea and Philippines
It’s also on AH-64E in the US. So following the logic of JAGM and CIRCM being on everybody’s Echo Apaches, everybody might get Spike there too

Nom nom nom.

Can then also be added to the Stormer HVM

Seems the more I like a plane, the worse they treat it, I am sorry 😿

Might have to re-evaluate my favourite helicopter based on silly payload. Katran might finally have a contender

20x Starstreaks or LMM would definetly make the Wildcat an hilarious heli to mess about with if it was at like 11.7.

It would be interesting, not sure how functional

I actually love this solution. Ive never seen it suggested before and its so simple it should be obvious. Add all the mmW guided weapons we can, but just make anything with that seeker cost 5000sp. Means its available for Air RB, Sim and custom battles but doesnt break ground RB.

I also had a thought when it comes to India for the MITL missiles and helis.

The HAL Prachand fires HELINA/Dhruvastra right? Does it also have the ability to fire the alternate versions of the missile with mitl too like SANT or no (at least I think SANT is MITL capable?)? I couldnt really find much with regards to this as even the HELINA version is still being trialled.

There is the Indian Mi-24 that trialled SANT but yeee, rather not a copy Mi-24 where possible ofc.

Given that India is a sub tree for the UK if people like it or not, it might be a nice, niche addition where an Indian heli can shine.

I’ve said it many times, if it’s THAT much of a problem just make it cost a fortune per pylon so you can only reasonably carry like 6 in grb maybe

Where quantity is/was concerned, Ive always thought that loadout costs should be based upon quantity and full selection. Not just the most expensive item no matter how many.

Have each weapon on each hardpoint have a cost. Then the SP cost is just the total of all pylons added up.

Gives an incentive to running less weapons or different mixes. Like doing 6x Brimstones and PW4s instead of just running 18x Brimstones (if/when Brimstones are worth running like that at least)

Then the cost can be balanced on a per pylon basis. If you want to run 18x Brimstones it costs X amount, and would be really high, but 6x would be more reasonable. Perhaps also with a cost multiplier after so many weapaons are taken. So after 9-12 Brimstones you’d get like a 1.5 ish mutliplier to the total SP cost.

Also means that the F-15s could get their full 28x loadout of Spice-250 and GBU-53s. That full loadout is possible but costs a lot more than just taking 8 or 16

It looks cool, but it has absolutely no range. Just over 3 miles. That’s much shorter than any anti-aircraft missile system. Well, maybe except for those armed with the Stinger. But in Mod B or Mod C, it could be a decent fnf hunter against lightly armored targets when playing from the terrain.

Just looks cool though, and LMM have comprable ish range to the Hellfires. So 11.3/11.7 they would be fine

Well, they are about 8km while hellfire is around 12km I believe

However, Martlets obviously have a proxy fuse and you can carry more

Later models of Hellfire are 12km, but all the versions in-game are 8km max

LMM I think are around 6-7km so a little lower than hellfire, which is why maybe they could eek out a lower BR. Especially with Vikhrs as low as 11.3

The sources I’ve seen state between 6-8km for LMM, so hopefully we get 8km
