Then i dont think that it is not going to be much different than the l15a3 in game, at least in angle penetration.

only thing i’ll bring up is @lxtav mentioned a DU cap, the simulation there specifies a TA core and cap.
This is however the first time Ive heard about a DU cap

I believe that was a mistake by me, as going back over all sources mention TA, I do specifically remember hearing about the A5 having something that improved its performance over the A3, im still trying to find out what though as its quite hard to find info on any of the Chieftains shells online.

This person uploaded a PDF on the challenger 1 gun system with some detail on the shot composition of L15A5, sadly it states that its Tungsten not DU.

So lads, who is willing to deep dive to make the Mark V a real funi guy?
Currently, its 2 main guns are not stabilised, however, looking at images it does look like they are shoulder adjusted guns for vertical accuracy at least, similar to the 2 pounder system? In theory, shouldnt that mean they should also be stabilised too?
I mean it hasnt got much going for it currently lol.

Found this, which shows the shoulder piece and also that the elevation and depression is wrong, I haven’t looked too deeply into it but can someone here make some reports? every time I have made one they get ignored.

NGL I was very confused when I first used the mark V because simply, its designed to clear trenches, how do you do this if you cant aim down xD

Not yet, I think the first was test fired from a Typhoon very recently (end of last year), whether the intergration is going to be done in the US or not remains to be seen
But I do wonder if this might be a rare US import. Spear-3s are going to be powerful weapons and the F-35 can carry 8 of them internally (I think)

Yeah, we’ll have to wait and see if it needs the same level of intergration as the Meteor apparently does
and proposed isnt quite the same as actually being developed. It might just be cheaper for the US to buy some Spear-3s short term at least

Iirc the powered GBU-53 was an entry to Spear 3 so I think it is well within reality, could probably be done within a year tbh.
The Anduril cruise missiles are called Barracuda-M. The one I am talking about as alternative is the 250lb one (Barracuda 250)
