Sea Harrier, rapier will come behind any of the other vehicles added.
dont worry Sea harrier has no gunsight still
At least the Rapier isn’t alone in its misery
Fox and scimitar had their traverse gimped too. this was an overall terrible update for the playability of British vehicles.
Eh, I would say those are fine with the nerfed rotation, though perhaps the Scimitar could go down in BR from it now to 7.3 possibly.
The Harrier buff is very nice, but without Matrix’s (and anyone else involved) insane dedication to fighting gaijins bs it wouldn’t have happened. But yes, overall its been pretty rough. Harry Hopkins though!
they are ok but im very annoyed that gaijin accepted a bug report that was pure guesswork. no actual value for traverse speed is in any manual or brochure for scimitar and fox (they have the same traverse drive and same turret rings) I know because I’ve read several of them. and from my own guesswork id guess they would be capable of closer to 40deg/s than 30.
neither are 7.7 worthy anymore. id put fox and scimitar down to 7.3 in this state.
the hopkins is very good. but 2.3?
It should really be 2.0, its alright at 2.3 but facing Shermans sucks
a 2pdr gun without the squeeze bore adapter facing a sherman is stupid.
what bugs me more is that the same sherman that’s 3.3 in the US tree is 3.7 in the British one
I hate it there because not only is it over BRed, Gaijin can hide behind it to withhold a Sherman V.
i think its more than brit mains do better with vehicles than Americans do. We consistently have worse vehicles at the same or higher BRs than American counterparts. having another one pointing this out just makes the “America mains are bad” trope look more true
M22 to harry hopkins,
AV8B plus to harrier FA2,
ADATS,
m3a3 bradley to desert warrior,
XM800T to scimitar,
They still are far below the performance metric I suggested based on the sources lol.
Anyway does anyone know the difference between the ARI 18228 vs 18228/3?
Yeah and soon all meteor engines will sound the same thanks to you
I also did a report on J60 engines (in the CVR vehicles) having very different sounds despite being the same engine. i doubt it will change things any time soon, will probably just be a note next time they overhaul engine sounds
Gears 4-7 are missing a few MPH.
Acceleration is actually pretty accurate. It’s just steering should not slow you down.
My point is that the merlin doesn’t sound the same in every tank due to varying transmissions, different exhaust systems, etc. If you paid attention you’d also notice that the caernarvon and conqueror use a vastly different version called the M120.
Why remove the variance from these?
the point of the report is that they sound far too different from each other.
We got the 3.7 Ram buffed twofold and Harrier FM buffed. I’d say we came off well.
the 3.7 Rams buff is using a document which has the wrong figures on. we also had a major vehicle for the 7.7 lineup gimped on pure guesswork so overall I wouldn’t call this a good one. incorrect information just isn’t a good thing
