There is a max total attachment weight of 50 Mo for most members, so I imagine that some people who post a lot might even delete important old pictures to post newer ones.
But also, if you posted a picture using a link/url (embedding them), there was a serious probability that the link would eventually break.
Even unbroken links would sometimes randomly break after a very short amount of time
The forum and the game are owned by a private entity that can do whatever it wants with it. Eventually the game will be abandoned and whatever you have “invested” in it will be lost.
I strongly agree with this. And will add the fact that flag system is out of control, and should be erased
Forum can stay but will add countries to machinery of war. Without this separation post are ditched to shamboo.

I look pretty much only to the “Next patch thread” and that is it.
Suggestion section is a mess. Zero country specific sections. Posting pics looks horrible too.
I must admit the Machinery of War Sections could do with more subdividing than whether its ground, air or naval. By Country would be nice.

I am aware, but it is (especially for the first time) disorientating. I mean, it is easy enough when you work it out but I feel it could do with having the Old forum style of MoW → Ground/Air/Naval? → Country? → Posts

For the moment, less of the old forum but because we have a tiner population than the old forum.
But an advantage of that new structure: before i stay quasi exclusively on the french sub-section. Today, it is easier for read and participate on international section.
Yes please, this new forum is incredibly confusing and user unfriendly. There are no pages in the posts, all comments are loaded at once, this is slowing down my PC and making it difficult to access certain comments. Also, why do posts that are more than a few days old get deleted or disappear?

Honestly, while Ive gotten used to the new forums by now (they are still way worse than the old) there is one “feature” that Ive decided I really dislike: Posts being hidden by community flags.
So many posts just randomly get hidden. Roughly 3/4 of them dont even deserve it when you click to view the hidden content. The feature of the “high trust users” to just immediately hide stuff without any moderator approval, if it is enabled on this forum (I dont know) is also in my opinion a terrible idea.
If a post violates the rules and gets reported, it should be reviewed and checked by moderation staff. The current system can just be abused by a bunch of friends mass reporting something on bogus grounds and getting it automatically hidden.
Either that or people are using the report function as an “I disagree” button for lack of a proper downvote option despite the fact the post does not break any forum rules.

I too dislike this forum, while it seems to have more actives on it, it’s not actually anyone who is good, literally…
So much rage and anger on this forum by having this change… The ‘pool’ of active players has no idea what a forum is for.
Just wish they announced it, so one had tome to adjust
