You might think it’s 40%, I might estimate 15% at most, either way, it’s not a majority.

Yet you demanded that we decrease [compress] the BR matchmaking range earlier in your own post.

Decompression doesn’t reduce variety.
0.7 makes many vehicles impossible to balance.

Point-in-case: Tiger 2, Tiger 2 105/T29, IS-3, and IS-4M/Maus.
4 similar but different vehicles. Perfectly balanced in the vastly superior uncompressed matchmaker range.

I don’t think we need that much decompression, just decompressing to like 17.0 would be far sufficient

a max BR of 17.0 with a matchmaking range of 1.0 would have a similar amount of BR brackets to a .7 range with a max BR 14.7. I don’t think it’s that much more extreme. Plus I’d think it’s easier to change the BR matchmaking range and make adjustments rather than shift the entire tech tree to 17.0.
