I’m mainly using this forum to discuss the possibility of a BR change for the Su-33 squadron aircraft, which is currently at BR 13.0. It’s really unfair that it’s at BR 13.0 when it’s facing aircraft with Fox 3 engines. For better balance, it should be at BR 12.3. This is my opinion; I hope I don’t offend anyone, and have a good day. Thanks for reading.

So you think a plane with 12 missiles in total, 8 or which are Mach 5.8 death pencils, should be at the same br as the F-18 A with 4 radar missiles? It’s not even remotely bad at 13.0, and it would destroy 12.3, imagine that thing in a downtier fighting F-4E phantoms, it has to stay 13.0 since it has plenty of range on its immensely fast missiles, as well as a very good radar and great missile quantity.

It gets 8 of the best Fox-1s in the game, paired with a pretty good radar, and 4 of the second best Fox-2s in the game. It is perfectly fine fighting Fox-3s. It certainly should not be fighting F-4Es.
If anything, I’d argue it should be raised to 13.3.

I doubt anybody would argue against fox 3 carriers all going up a step or two to give SRH carriers more breathing room, but down tiering the Su-33/27 would be even worse than moving the F-15A down to 12.7 was… and moving it down to 12.3?
Hell the Bison is 12.3 with 2 R-27 non-ERs and 2 R-73s

It’s fine at 13.0. Stock grind is genuinely abysmal, and I’d still rather have the standard flanker at 13.0. What we really need is for the Su-30s and F-15s to be uptiered to 13.7 and 13.0 respectively.

The Su-33 is one of the best 13.0s.
Moving it down to face 11.3 planes is genuine insanity.
The issues I expect you’re facing are:
- Not knowing how to defend missiles properly, there’s guides for that online now.
- Stockgrind, which is irrelevant to a vehicle’s br placement (yes, it’s a hard stockgrind but that’s how it is)
My recommendation is learning to play the vehicle and bracket before considering br changes

I understand you probably have a rough time and that its kinda annoying to face against the stuff at 13.0 plus
But learn it and you see it will perform decently well
But making it fight anything under 12.0 in an downtier will be ungodly Broken
