First things first.
It has up 4-6 R-73s, that alone makes it 12.7 worthy at a bare minimum, but with the HMD too, that could put it on par with stuff like the Gripen A already at 13.0. It is definetly not going down to 12.3.
then ontop of that, you have 6-8 R-27ERs, the most OP SARH missile in-game by a very large margin. Even if it had a 4+4 weapons fit like the F-15A (which is already under BRed at 12.7) then it would be notably stronger with far better SARH missiles, but its not 4+4 its 4+8.
Then it can also swap out 2 of those R-27ERs for R-27ETs which are niche but very potent when used right.
All this on a half decent platform.
As it stands, the Su-33 should be a higher BR if not for the compression keeping at its current BR. There is no way half of what is at 12.3 should even be able to see an Su-33, let aone 12.0s and if nothing else, its notably stronger than the Mig-29s with 4-6 R-73s and 2x R-27ERs at 13.0

Will it be much better on 12.7?
It would be better at 13.3. But the compression is such that it cant move up currently

Also, and correct me if im wrong, you’ve got only 1 match done so far in the Su-33. Have you even unlocked all mods for it yet?
Though dont get me wrong. 13.0 is a tricky BR, because you have substantially stronger Fox-3 aircraft just 0.3 higher. Like the Premium Su-30s. So a full uptier, you will find hard, but everyone is at the moment with the compression, but moving the Su-33 down is not the solution. Others need to be moved up.

Su-33 is a contender for best 13.0, as a sidegrade to the Su-27S.
You get 2 more R-27 carrying pylons and a much better RWR but have a worse FM and half the countermeasures
I wouldn’t recommend multipathing, it’s a plane that benefits largely from good positioning where you won’t need all of your countermeasures. great at long range due to the R-27ER’s frankly absurd performance, though there are some bugs with it’s tracking currently

Typo, meant 13.3? It’s easily one of the best 13.0 in the game, maybe shouldn’t have bought a jet that you don’t know how to play every jet has this problem. That’s not me being angry, that’s me being blunt.

I just finished watching a guide on how to play the Su-33 and I’m blown away by how good the plane is. In two matches, I got two kills in one and three in the last. We lost, but it’s a huge improvement, because when I made the post, my kill rate was 99%.

The Phantom FG.1 does not concern itself with undertiered bias machines.
everytime I see 12.3 it reminds me of that F-16 with only 6 9L
F-15A is not Under BRd. No way. I still haven’t spaded it because of constant uptiers into ARH BR Range.
We need a heavy decompression from 11.7 and up.
The Su-30 is fine where it’s at, I’d actually like it to bump up along with everything else maybe.
If anything, the F-16C with 120As is a little high at 13.7, and the ADF with its idiotic ahistorical 120s needs to be dropped back to 12.7. (Remove the 120s from the US ADF)
Exactly! That’s where I’m stuck at currently, trying to Spade it with only 9Ls is very very difficult.
