All ARH missiles have identical seekers except the Aim-54/F-90 that have weaker seekers and the MICA EM which has a stronger seeker. The Aim-120C5 was given this on the dev server as well, but was swiftly removed. MICA EM is far harder to notch than any other ARH missile currently in game
F15E only strength is BVR thats basically it and our best plane being in strike line is mad annoying F15E has worst manuveribility and im not gonna even mention the dumb HORNET
i wonder why only mica has a good seeker. is there some kind of unclassified document that states the mica has a better seeker than all fox3s or something

I agree. The US probably needs AESA variants of the planes (F-15C w/AESA, F/A-18E, etc.) at most, but that’s it. Most of their core issues are related to ordnance, not to airframes themselves.

I think seekers can be reported, but getting the sources is extremely hard and the frenchies found something. But I also wouldnt be surprised if the fact that most nations use AMRAAMs and therefore AMRAAM does “well” on paper doesnt also play a part in it being denied buffs. Flame has reports for the AMRAAM dating back more than a year, never been actioned. Heck pretty solid reports have been submitted for smokeless motors for the AMRAAM.
So its probably all a balancing decision

Britain, Italy, Sweden and China have all been systematically screwed for reasonable chunks of time in the recent years.
Britain and Sweden stuck with F3 and Viggen D respectively for an entire year
China got kinda screwed by the J-11 for a few months.
Italy was stuck with an F-16 without IRCCM for quite a while vs F-16s, Mig-29s and Gripens with IRCCM

It had 4x 9Ls and 2x Skyslug DFs vs F-16 with 9L/7M and Mig-29s with R-60M/R-27ER and then later F-16C with 9M/7M and SMT with R-73/R-27ER. It, like the Tornado F3 (at the time) was a 11.3 vs 12.0s and then 12.3s. It sucked for both nations. (and should be noted, the F3 we have now is much much stronger)

AIM7E2s are pretty good as they pull immediatly off rails you just gotta be closer to fire them
you still are not beating an R-27ER in a BVR fight and back then the meta was staying below 100m. So it was Viggen D vs F-16 and Mig-29 in a dogfight. At least this was also before the BOL nerfs, so it did have CMs back then
i mean mig 29 first gen was so mid because no R73 and F16 had mid FM for a while so jas37 could keep up
