For the love of God… I can barely tolerate the horrible matchmaking… but playing against 3-4 BMPTs every match makes me want to quit and spend my money elsewhere. They do not belong in Tier 7. They have a Tier 8 chassis that enables an unfair level of survivability compared to other tanks of its tier. What is worse is that they can replenish their missiles while they sit hull down abusing half the map with little to no fear of consequence. They cannot be ammo racked or over-pressured with HE. To be honest–knowing how crappy this tank is in real life–it’s hard not to see this behavior from WT as some sort of delusional escapade to falsely boast Russia’s military power.

It has 12.0 ERA Blocks which stops apfds, has ATGMS, has double cannons and high fire rate. yet it is 10.7
meanwhile light tanks like PUMA share higher BRs while having worse weaponry and worse survival
As i said, its your average op russian vehicle propaganda of the moment (don’t get me wrong i love russian vehicles and their tech, its awesome) but on this game it fucking sucks because they always pushing this propaganda and making russia have the best choices and being so powerfull etc etc. its always the same, happened with 2S38, happened with TURMS-T, happened with Ka-50s, happened with LMURS, happened with the Strela, happened with Pantsir, etc. long list of russia having game breaking vehicles.

Whats your winrate in it so far? Iv seen an average of 80+% with mine being 88%., Absolute insanity and clearly on purpose that gaijin is letting this slide.

Wow… I remember hearing about the pain those other Russian tanks caused when they were fist introduced. The BMPT has to be the most egregious example of them, right? This time just feels blatantly disrespectful.

Yeah looks like the bmpt its the most unbalanced vehicle gaijin added so far, even more op than 2s38, pt76-57 and ebr together.

defensively its even stronger than T-90M so it makes sense, Its incredibly hard to disable, can’t ammo rack it easily. Weak spots are pretty small and difficult to hit specially while blinded with it shooting at you.
At best right now I’ll get lucky and either their LFP is visible, or they are hull down mostly and I’m basically screwed

side tracks work also for ammo detonation.
pretty much the weak spot are :
- LFP (high damage )
- driver port ( avrage damage )
- side front ( hight damage - insta kill )
- ammo turret ( work good on the bmpt-72 - insta kill )
- system control ( easy to taget with auto canon )
- shoting twice the era armor ( after first hit, you second round should pen like butter )
that the ones i always keep on my head when going against them
( i am not saying it should still be at 10.7, there a big difference btw helping know the weak spot and actual tank br ) this is not for you, just incase someone acuse again
Except my round cant even pen the side barely if the bmpt is angled… Meanwhile id say 60% of the time ammo pens dont even kill it

just shot the port and turret of a bmpt with 3bm42 repeatedly and it was regenerating ERA blocks and the FCS wouldn’t break

I’d say 70%-80%+ lol, and that’s my experience using it. And the crew slot I have it in isn’t even close to being maxed yet 🤣

Streamers who follow war thunder 5 years or more ago made videos that this particular vehicles along with others should never be added fast forward and here we are. It’s almost like veterans play the game enough to know what is good and bad but Gajin is really trying to milk the money at this point. Vacation or not this should of never happened.

I hope this is true cause one thing Gajin seems to not take into account is Russian equipment is not built for crew survival like NATO and saying “external ammo” is ridiculous for a nation who puts crew on top of an auto loader full of ammo.

And when these vehicles get an ‘equivalent’, they love to cry about it—just look at the whining to this day over the Begleitpanzer; I’ve even seen a post asking to remove its ATGM lol.

I still see people claiming it has the same armor as top-tier MBTs, even though I could pen top-tier tanks with my TAM 2C but can’t even pen the side of a BMPT… now this one, that damn BMPT should be at top tier, end of story. It doesn’t matter if they get APFSDS or not, just keep that thing away from anything below top tier—preferably at 13.0.
