Black Night L23A1

Soviet main:

“its fine, its easy to kill a T-series tank, just aim for the microscopic weakspot”

Also soviet main

“Challenger 2 surivabiltiy is fine, it has the 2 small plates that cannot be penned, it doesnt matter that the rest of the tank can be penned by any 10.7 shell”

Me when it’s the thickest part of the one of the most notoriously armoured and subsequently heavy tanks and CAN still be penned by it.

The very easy and never hidden weakspots.

Chally 2 armor is not good, just okay around the turret. It is quite survivable though, as long as your sprocket is not free for them to shoot

The turret roof is actually exceptionally weak, you can pick off a crew member or a breach if you just see their turret. Makes it quite easy to kill hull-down or when cresting a hill.

You said this.

You know the difference between red and yellow on protection analysis right?

It does not pen. I already tried this with a friend a long time ago in another argument.

2E does not belong at 12.0.

The only difference to the base model CR2 which already should probably be 11.0/11.3, is the upgraded engine. Yes, this mitigates some of the mobility issues, bringing it on par with other top tier MBTs, but does NOTHING to address all the other issues, first and foremost must be the terrible nature of L27A1, the micro ready rack, lack of regen steering, etc etc.

The 2E I would still consider on par with 11.3 M1A1. Its trading 4kph more forward speed for a notably weaker shell, survivability and sustained fire rate

11.3 would be appropriate

M1A1 is undertiered. It should be 11.7 with the 11.7 Abrams moving up. Otherwise, true.

If it pens, it kills. extremely rare for a CR2 to survive any hit that pens due to crew locations and ammo rack in the turret with no blowout panels.

In my expierence. 90% of that green area would only badly damage, not kill, and not necessarily disable the tank.

Wow, the tank where its only advantage is armor profile has some form of armor (only on the UFP but wtv)

My experience was the opposite, It would pen, but not kill.

So its still weaker than a tank that should be at 11.7. There is no justification for any of the CR2s (or even the CR3) to be at their current BRs.

Honestly thats just the M1A1 being insane, being better than most 12.0s (Leclerc, 2A5, for example).
CR2E could be 11.7.
Other ones 11.3.

This hurts (L23A1 at 12.0 is very not fun)

Exactly and those like the M1A2 and Leopard 2A7 should be 12.7/13.0 and the T-80BVM more like 12.3/12.7.

The CR2 should only be fighting some these tanks in a full uptier, not fighting them every single match at the same BR.

2E is on par if not better than BVM tbh.

Very unforgiving as other’s have greater pen at the same BR stockwise compared to the 2E/BN

T-80BVM has;

  • Better optics
  • Nearly the same forward speed (2kph difference)
  • Worst reverse speed
  • Better shell (and with the option for the ATGM)
  • Better sustained fire rate
  • Better survivability (especially against ATGMs thanks to having ERA)
  • Smaller profile

Let alone the advantage of an auto-loader being 100% repairable and a manual loader will easily die and require crew replenishment
