Giving a 12.0 tank a sub-400mm pen round @10m as stock is criminal. It should get L26. You quite literally can’t pen anything frontally unless they’re showing their LFP like a peacock does its feathers. L26 is a rank 1 modification regardless, so literally nothing will be lost by making it default.

Have you considered getting better? A W-Holding T-Series is one of the easiest things to kill in the entire game.
Have you considered that the T-series is disproportionately better than almost every other vehicle intended to be its equal for a number of reasons?
Lack of internal spalling, black hole ERA, paper thin structural steel plates eating darts, lolpen cannons, low silhouette, high mobility… the list goes on

Seriously, what compelled you to make that statement? The T series has been rampant for years and only recently began to get challenged by top of the line Leopard 2’s.
T-72s have no mobility, no reverse, awful gun angles, and until the T-72B3 have atrocious gun handling. Add to that mediocre armor profiles (and a lack of the ability to hide their weak points), bottom of the barrel reloads, etc.
T-80s are relatively fast forwards, however are still slower than the likes of the Abrams, also have poor reverses, poor reloads, mediocre armor profiles with the same lack of ability to hide their weakspots. Until the BVM, they have just as worse gun handling as the T-72s.
They don’t do anything well, except maybe tank 1 sideshot for 10 that they die to.
Why would I play T-series at top tier when Abrams is better, and my Chally 2s are more fun due to higher mobility?
