im cruising at +500km/h at 3300 m with only 10% throttle and like 10 seconds of fuel used in 5 minutes.
this is the problem, your fuel “issue” can be fixed by not rushing it and taking it slow like any plane.
thats not the fault of the plane, thats YOU having bad aim. and dont be blaming the controller on your skill issue, sounding like a smash melee player lol
It also means that the BI-1 can actually loiter for a while and creep around.
I would mind if the BI-1 actually had like 2-4 minutes to do as much damage as it can, it would only mean you need to survive the inicial attack before being given a break and try to then deal as much damage to the enemy team and minimize it’s advantage before it returns.
If it was only a danger at the beginning and the end of matches because it has to run back for more propellant it wouldnt be that big of a deal as it means theres a way to avoid its sweaty grips i agree.
that ability to loiter is quite scary tbh. also helps explain the K/D RATIO OF FOUR
I do play sim. Pretty much exclusively for air now. If realistic didn’t have missile markers and player markers for the enemy then if prob play it more.
My keybinds for sim are quite good think I made a yt vid for it tbh.
Yes Vr is the biggest let down by far, and is honestly quite unfair of gets it do sim only. They need to make lobbies for Vr / head trackers
you can take planes into naval RB. ive smited a couple ships with a wyvern before with an RP3 rocket so its fully plausable for a BI to get the last tick of damage on a torpedo boat someone was using to get a point capture.
planes arent cheap in naval but with the sheer amount of fake and OP russian ships in the game its much more doable with ussr than other trees
I like naval but hardly play it, mostly as high tier battleships are only food for the soyuz. I love the nelson class but im not grinding for them when thats the state of the game. ill stick with my town classes
Eh. While it’s an advantage it’s not insurmountable. I play with a really weird camera control set-up inspired by il2:GB and hat switches using WASD and… I do just fine flying props even in crazy furballs (109 F-4, F4U-4, P-51C so not even japanese madness). It just takes a hot minute to get used to.
I certainly don’t feel disadvantaged in most of my aircraft (some - like the spitfire - I do concede VR gets an advantage by being able to lean in at better angles to see past frames but that’s about it).
Over at IL2, some top pilots on combat box apparently fly with hat switches and no VR/headtracking too.
I do not feel “they need to make lobbies that…” have any justification there, I am afraid.
sounds like any other plane with energy advantage to me. Do we need to make all planes 1.0 because Zero cant outmaneuver and kill a boom-zooming Mustang at 600kmh?
