Bf109s and FW190s are the worst experience i've had in this game

My assumption is: Did you change Vertical targetting or gun convergence range?

It makes a p significant difference for Mg151. I have mine ON and at 400 meters for ASB and it works more or less intuitively that way.

It’s not easy, but it kinda works up to 400m, anyway, with enough training, you’ll do just fine.
The only thing that doesn’t is the damage. But hopefully this will be fixed one day.

Here is Shvak damage, just if anyone was wondering how good soviet guns really are:

I 1-shot Bf 109 F4 2 minutes before.

Meanwhile 2 MK108 M-geschoss from night belt to the right wing from 200m away:

Good luck to all German players, you’re going to need it.

You know what else does alot of damage? Ramming.

The guy in my screenshot joined russian space programme after 3rd 30mm HE shell hit the fuel tank. But still, if I only landed 2, he’d be absolutely fine.

I had the stupid idea to grind Italy and play the 109F-4…
It overheats like crap. Guns are royally crap as well.
I had played the plane before (a year maybe) and it wasn’t that bad… at least guns worked…
Also between 109s and 190…weirdly i’m an 190 guy as well. I just can’t find any quality in 109s vs 190s …

Most 190s aren’t as good as other aircraft, except the A-1 (the first Fw 190 in the TT), all other 190s are almost useless.
Bf 109 is better for energy fighting and the armament is decent, while Ta 152 has amazing armament, very good engine and decent maneuverability.

109 turns better, 190 has better engine (but it’s heavier).

Not to forget that 190 can do a goddamn Kvochur Bell at 350/400kph.

I would trade entire Ta-152H armanent for a single Type 99 Mk2 or Shvak, but latter only for Air RB, as 20 and 30mm M-geschoss and 20mm APHE are absolutely great vs open tops, and APHE vs very light armored targets (13mm or thinner, but still).

fw190s are genuinely just free kills

Depends on speed. If u can get to good enough speeds they are ok, but the firepower is definitely not worth the BR.

Well, problem is, they are not even that fast, around 4.0 they get outrun by 4.0 Pay2Winnin’s Yak-3 and normal Yak-3, that can also high-speed dodge and that objectively outgun poor 190 A4 and A5s.
The only thing Yak can’t do is high speed dive. But that’s about it.
I genuinely don’t feel comfortable fighting 4.0 Pay2winnin’s Yak in Ta-152H, which sits 2 BRs higher. I lose the head on, he turns better at speed and I’m not even sure I turn better with combat flaps, I can out-sustained-turn Yak-3 maybe, but that’s kinda it.

high speed turning almost always devolves into a low speed dogfight in which the Fw190s are just terrible, br for br fw190s are the worst fighters you can choose doing nothing better than their competitors.

the yak3 a plane from late 44 being 4.0 for so long is just insane, below 15k feet you will literally rule any bf109 outside the k4 which you can’t see at 4.3 lol, and don’t even get me started on how much BETTER Russian guns are despite literally having less he like how is that possible, mg151s are a joke pic related I killed the c205 I bet he was mad.

Original Yak-3 was 4.3 back when MG151/20 had good ROF, similar ballistics, and way more power than Shvak while Yak benefitted from.plywood bug 1.0 which caused MG151/20 to not fuse when striking part of the wings and tail (for some unknown [wink wink] reason MG151/20 had worse fuse sensitivity.than any other 20mm, which made basically no difference, unless you were facing soviets, what a coincidence).
Now MG151/20 has nerfed ROF, nerfed explosive power, super-nerfed ballistics, while Shvak literally rips wings in half with a single hit (as shown by the video clip I posted few posts ago), and yet Yak-3 still sits at 4.0 and non pay2win sits at 4.3.
Gaijin balancing is “something different”.

MK108 hits so hard it goes out of the scale and arrives back at the “absolute dogshit” level.
So yeah, switching to MK108 is not a solution to any problems.
It’s a night belt, so every shell is HEI-T M-geschoss.

I spaded both Rocket 262s recently, and honestly, I just run stealth with MK108. Weird to lead, but leads to some funny situations, because people literally don’t see it coming.

And Stealth mine-shot does considerably more damage per shell than the tracer rounds do.

Now as for a plane which is truly unredeemable dogshit? The Ki-200.

Nah, it does the same damage basically.
Have tested it time and time again.

I’m not using stealth because despite leading enemies by a mile, I still missed most shots, so I switched to night belt so I can see how much more lead I need, and boy, it’s a lot.

Yeah that’s what I do. The C2b is too high BR wise, the missiles are impossible to evade and the 262s sucks against the MiG-15s and F86s.

I do feel like it does more. It also tells me not to try and lead, just place ur nose in front of the lead, spray and pray.

For correctly working shell, check protection analysis. Of course there’s also the hidden “Gaijined %” parameter, but in PA it’s set to 0%.
There’s no real difference.
But if Gaijined % rises to higher values, things like this start happening:

Regarding proper leading shots - I’m a Ta-152H user. Like 1/3 of my kills are super high deflection shots. Rest is a mix of normal BnZ and energy traps + some bombers and attackers.
In 262 I have to lead so much the enemy is well out of my screen. It’s ridiculous.

I would happily trade all 4 MK108 for 1 Shvak with 160 rounds.
