If you can get the devs to remove it, i will supoort you…and very few players will even notice.
Console players have several disadvantages, most of them more serious than this…and of all the “legal” advantages present in the game this probably is the less relevant.
Some PC players get annoyed when killed by console players…and so go on the warpath for some reason! Console players are ON AVERAGE less dangerous and easier targets, so you should want more of us, not less. You will have to cope when one gets lucky or is better than you…

Calling it a wall hack and saying you have “an issue with it” is heavily inferring you find it unfair (and you wouldn’t be wrong), you don’t have to say it verbatim.
It was a fun feature when it was the only real defense in the game from orbital striking MiG-27s and very high spawning drones. You can still use it as a discount radar for things that don’t have it, but it does not work at all like OP describes and ultimately there are worse exploits in the game (sound settings/mods/graphic fidelity etc.). By all means remove it idc.
console aim-assist at Ground RB is unfair.
Particularly when you a using the 81(C) and Strela. The console players just need to press the “lock key” that can easily find the air target. At the same time, the PC players still try to find the 1 pixel dot in the sky.
No, it’s not labeled as tracking camera enemy here are two pictures of what it is on PC but we as PC players can’t use them in realistic battle only in arcade battle mode but Xbox and Sony Play Stations can use it in all the battle modes from arcade to SIM and it’s not right it’s a cheat
back when I discovered the game, I played on controller on an xbox. Its not like a mouse where you can make those micro adjustments to the movement of tanks and really is a pain. I think them being able to lock things behind cover is ridiculous and should be fixed. Just saying, they do need aim assist to compete competitively.
That’s probably because you didn’t know that you can find an adapter to hook up to an Xbox or PlayStation to be able to use a mouse and keyboard but that’s all in the setting for the game you know control and for another thing you cannot make micro-adjustments with a mouse and most of the time in-game you don’t have the time to make a micro-adjustment even if you could here are some of the adapters for Xbox and PlayStation it shouldn’t be required to play War Thunder

Welcome to 2013, you don’t need an adapter to use a mouse and a keyboard on a PS4. The thing is that some console players use those adapters to play against other console players in games where mouse and keyboards are not allowed, guess why? Yes, cause they are considered an unfair advantage against players using a gamepad/controller. And yes, there are also cheaters on console.
But then, the cheats available to you as a PC player are beyond comparison to the use of an adapter that emulates a gamepad/controller, you probably missed the whole forest here.
I don’t have any cheats in War Thunder on my PC I know where I can get them but I don’t want anybody to have any cheats because it’s unfair and their anti-cheat thing here in War Thunder doesn’t work like they say it does and I didn’t know that the new Xboxes and PlayStations don’t need the adapter for keyboard and mouse but being able to lock on target in realistic mode shouldn’t happen.
Using an adapter to hook up an unauthorized MKB to a console is a ToS violation and can end in an account ban.
Additionally, calling it an aim assist is objectively incorrect.
It’s a Target track function, useful primarily to help keep an eye on aircraft. It does not account for nor do your ranging or leading for you. You as the player still have to line, lead and range your shots.
Contrary to what you countless clueless plebs on PC say, it is not omnipotent.
I’ll also add that it’s not your place to tell me or anyone else what hardware to use. I will use a controller as much as I like. Don’t like it? Too fucking bad. It’s my account - Not yours. You’re not my father nor my boss. Go pound sand.
Do people look like they have 70 dollars at hand? You defeated the claim you were making by default also PC players have a mouse and keyboard, or a laptop with a built-in keyboard and some sort of cheap mouse.
So no they shouldn’t cause even with that system it’s still controller meaning they’re gonna miss a lot before hitting anything.
Adding that system to PC makes SPAA’s functional aim above or before the arcade estimate reticle.

I don’t know if you have them or not, you are a PC player and like you said you know where to get them. I’m a PC player since 2017 and I don’t know where to get them simply cause I’ve never looked for cheats in the first place. I prefer to learn and improve without them.
I believe that any honest player doesn’t want to see other players cheating in any multiplayer game.
The thing is that the target tracking in RB is part of the default controls for console players using a controller, it’s not a cheat. When you consider it a cheat, you are insulting all honest console players that play with a controller.
If target tracking was such a big advantage then why basically no PC player uses it in Arcade? Cause it’s not an advantage compared to using a mouse to aim.
