Base bombing = passive gameplay?

Bombers have been called passive players by some in the community so I’m interested of what really is “passive”.

I want to know what “passive gameplay” is, especially this section on gaijins code of conduct.

● Inactive Gameplay and Deliberate Losing. Intentional inactivity during game matches (a player’s “AFK” state) and deliberate actions leading to a loss, such as moving around the map without completing objectives or not engaging opponents.

What is the definition of objective? Does it mean that you get score for destroying it/capturing it, or that tickets are drained/affect the gameplay greatly?

Moreover, is it judged by battle activity? Because in this system, a player trying but missing his shots, against a player who have successfully bombed, will look “inactive”.

A lot of battle tasks demands the player reduce their combat capabilities, e.g. the ones demanding kill assists rather than kills.

And finally, will someone choosing less advantageous vehicles, or are otherwise unskilled, be considered “deliberate losing”?

Does it contribute to winning a game? No.

Could be described as “Deliberate Losing” as you are not doing anything to help your team win.

why have bases to bomb in ARB if not to bomb them

oh OP is the guy from the other bombing thread

Why I bomb bases in premium fighter jets

I could see a definition for war thunder air along the lines of “deliberately and selfishly focusing on bases to grind instead of playing and interacting with people around” in your case

idk Gaijin hasn’t figured that out yet

they still looking for the D point xD

Well that can extend to less skilled players, people who pick non meta planes, bomber planes etc

Generally, anything that someone doesn’t like to do or mildly inconveniences them.

No it cannot. Less skilled players that are going for PvP are helping the team.

Depends on how off meta. If you are picking the B-29 maybe. F-16C not really.

Yes. Gaijin has ruined bombers and we are all suffering for it.

Bombing bases and then taking potshots at the furball while they rtb? Not passive!

The way you play and just let someone kill you so you can hop in another game ASAP? Definitely passive

so the premium tank players would be considered passive if they don’t spawn in their reserve tanks?

If they immediately die on their clickbaits? Kind of yeah. But 1 death leaving is whole other topic independent of ARB thread

Yesn’t…? Premium tanks nowadays come with some free backups in the end. Could they spawn in their reserve tank? Yes. Will they be able to do much? Not much.

But idk why we’re bringing up ground related issues when this thread is made for Air RB.

Thought I would go off topic for a few seconds. I’d like to keep the rest of thread air tho

Because their arguments are falling apart

I’m not arguing. I’m asking questions

Also, what about bomber players? These cant dogfight so the best they can do is to run away as far as possible

Until Gaijin fixes bombing and ARB they can’t do anything else. There is no incentive to protect bombers since they are useless. Until that changes bombers will remain hated in the community and will be seen as dead weight.

this is fmt3, be like him

These things aren’t discussed much. In this particular thread I’m interested in knowing the conclusion of “passiveness” on base bombing.
