And that’s why they fail, such kind of bad weather won’t exist too long, at least won’t happen like in the game where over 40% of battle is fog or heavy rain.
Show me, especially under radar locked, most of players’ CAS K/D can’t over 2, I wonder if how professional you can by using low alt CAS to achieve that, or call it efficiency. Or if you want, I can set a room in bad weather to see how do you do that?
I suggested bad weather on occasional maps to give ground forces a break from overbearing CAS now and then. This was way back on the old forum during a debate on what could be done to stop CAS destroying the GRB game.
The Battle of the Bulge was given as an example of a time when there was no air cover and things went very differently for a little while so why not have it in the game? As it is the weather in WT is nowhere near bad enough to prevent flying outright.
Having a no fly limit on some maps is no big deal ,it gives tankers a rest from air and makes those who rely on CAS think a different way for a game.
It also gives those who fly badly or are on console some hiding place from the ARB pilots with full controls etc
The problem with this game is players demanding every map be the same, same size ,same weather, same featureless terrain. Weather is variation and how we deal with each different map is what WT was about at one point.
have you ever played GRB? Go kill a guy who has a kill or base cap and a majority of the time they’ll respawn in a plane to revenge bomb, suicide bomb etc. Its especially prevalent around 4.0-7.7 where SPAA is significantly inferior to CAS another reason why their K/d is horrendous is becuase they dont play ARB they never learn how to fight other planes and just rely on headons
Bro the gepard is literally in your top 10 most played vehicles and you dont even play top tier as of recent you just play the m103 which sits at a br where CAS is weak
Maybe, but still, I haven’t played it since 2017. ;)
The Gepard is not even my most played SPAA. :D
And my most played tank is the Panther II.
So I guess, I mostly play 7.0 then, huh? But wait! I have last played the Panther II in 2015 to unlock the Leopard I.
My second most played tank is the Leopard 2A6 btw, followed by the Type 16. ;)
So what did you do to come to that conclusion?
Open my stats, pick a random vehicle from my top 10 most played tanks and then claim that that vehicle’s BR is where I spend most of my time?
So I play mostly 8.3 now, because #7 of my all-time (since the introduction of ground forces) most played ground vehicles is at 8.3.
I guess, you mostly play 4.0 then, am I right? After all, your #7 most played tank is the German Churchill.
I only play that US lineup due to the BP task, otherwise I play Germany (currently 10.7 to use the research bonus from spading the Vilkas for my 2A7) and Japan at 11.7.
As soon as the Vilkas is spaded I will move to top tier Germany again and Japan has nothing further advanced than what I am playing ground wise.
BTW: the M103 is at 7.7. I’ll just quote yourself here:
So what is it? Is CAS strong at 7.7 or is the M103 at a BR that facse no strong CAS, you can only choose one.
I mean their recent Warthunder stats according to thunderskill is mostly 10.3 Germany, and 7.7/8.0 US.
And its not wierd that a SPAA is one of the most played vehicles as they usually cover a wide BR range.
Edit: my most played vehicle is the AMX 13 DCA apperantly, and thats not indicative of me playing 4.3. Because up untill recently it covered the entire BR range from 4.3 to 8.3. Also because its a great light tank.
