Id never take aim9’s only because it means I have to get within a few km’s and hope tws doesn’t pop my location then I have to defend ARH without any ability to put them defensive. ARH is the most logical and sensible equipment.
I saw the screenshot, I’ve seen plenty of 6 man wipes with su34. They’re just demonstrably way better missiles even if the platform is lacking comparatively. Especially since best SPAA is on their team.
Which leads me to my next point, the lethality aspect of the type81c you’re referring to is almost non existent lol. Mk1 eyeballs means they need to be in visual range. The missile can only effectively really work to 6 or saw for a good lock. Meaning you’re never gonna take care of helis, and you can still kinematically dodge those missiles quite easily. Take it on a turn and pop 2 flares and change direction quickly. It’s really not that good, “used correctly” just means “hit someone not paying attention.”
Japan is Israel are lacking so incredibly that if someone somehow made a match of only Japan and Israel. They literally could not mount a defense against helis and jets.

2 x aim9Ms and 2 x Rdarters is 190 SP
But my custom one with 2 x aim9M and 4 x R darter is 54 SP
I take the aim9Ms over the aim7s for example onthe F15A.
On the gripen If i take a cas loadout i have to take 9Ms
they arent the primary choice but are not by anymeans suddenly invalidated by the addition of ARH missiles especially in GRB.
yes the KH38s are far better missiles but the su34 platform is far inferior to that of the rafale, 15E and EF2000.
Eh im going by waht ive been shown and seen CCs do with it, which is why I said supposedly.

Yep, and the Gripen needs some loadout buffs. Like the centre hardpoint should be able to equip bombs

A lot.
- BOL should be 4x more effective than they are currently
- MAWS
- Centre line bombs
- I think a few A2G loadouts
- FM is likely underperforming
- Radar is underperforming
and probably a few other bits im forgeting and yeah, Gripen E is needed sooner rather than later

Because apparently “man-in-the-loop” weapons arent modeled but what then are laser guided bombs then? and all DL would have done is made it so that the target point could be updated from much higher up than it can at the moment
