What do you mean? For gameplay or suffering from console players?
It’s not auto aim, it’s auto tracking and your reticle has to be pretty damn close to it to even start tracking.
The problem is it also works when using mkb on console.
In air realistic battles the controls are terrible. Constant jerking motion, and RS set to increase/decrease throttle, which I accidentally hit when trying to strafe or use other RS functions. Some people say “bro just set ‘a’ for accelerate and ‘x’ for brake” this is even worse because it’s either 100% throttle with the button held or it’s 49% while holding neither button. There are so many problems with it. It’s simply a joke to fly planes with a controller in air realistic battles. I spent hours trying to make it work until I realised it was better to use a mouse and keyboard for air realistic.
Even worse, try swing wing controls
Its borderline impossible to cram that into the 17 hundret controls you need to use to just about fly already
You didn’t show anything 😔
Incorrect. Pc users have the same ability if you plug in a controller.
Better yet, it’s not even auto aim, it’s “aim holding” which just holds your cursor where it was. It doesn’t guide it like you believe
What’s truly unfair is sound / sight mods PC users are allowed to use, which often gives advantages to PC users.
Just come fly air sim.
Controller works quite well in air sim just ask itsbutters or ROKStarTTV - both very good top percentile players.
I have earlier posted a lot of videos from wingalingdragon, trainingdays and nimbal how to get set up for flying air sim.
Air rb is hopeless vs mouse aim instructor flyers.
Sb you have parity with mkb and hotas at ww2 brackets.
Yeah well I’m not going to play with crappy controls just to prove a point. I already wasted several hours of my life a few years ago, so I thought what’s the purpose of re-living that nightmare.

I dont see why either would be any different on console vs PC, except that you can usually aim with a little finer control with a mouse, but this is nothing new and console players tend to get some degree of aim assist anyway.
This is just a matter of audio output and has nothing to do with the device being played on. If I play with speakers instead of headphones on my PC, then I would have the exact same effect and you could play on console with headphones.
Isnt there a way to turn off the crossplay on console tho?
Completely forgot the biggest downside on console. We can’t use ULQ. The ground is always covered in bushy grass everywhere lol.
Yep
By the way, if you guys think the console version is that advantageous, then why aren’t you all playing on console? For you rich folks with your high-end PC (huh?), buying a console should be a piece of cake, right?
Go ahead and enjoy that official cheat code only consoles can offer!!
tbf I remain confused as to the notion that console are the “poor person option.”
In my view, the inverse is true.
If you’re rich and got lots of spending cash, you can afford to buy a console.
Otherwise? It’s only capable of doing gaming and movies.
A PC otherwise offers: Gaming, document editing, programming, media editing, modelling random stuff, vital for HS/University (and job applications. Ideally you are given a company computer if WfH but if not: also that).
I’m the opposite of wealthy (Chemist in public sector, eastern europe) and I have a decent PC (1050 Ti , Ryzen 5 5500, 16GB DDR4 RAM. It cost like… 350K HUF altogether?) and never could in my life justify owning a console after my childhood N64 which I played with until mid 2000s alongside my Sega genesis and PS2 lol.
Switch 2? 200K HUF.
Playstation 5? 350K HUF
Xbox series X? 300K HUF.
Switch 1? 156K HUF
Xbox Series S? 200K HUF.
things that can only do 2 things and even those 2 things are highly restricted
vs…
350K HUF (1050 Ti, Ryzen 5 5500, 16GB) for a PC that has both Windows and Linux, that I can do legitimate work with and make money, that served me throughout my BSc & MSc and helped me write my theses and peer reviewed papers, that helped me write job applications, it allows me to write fanfiction, it lets me mess around with youtube, I can do random coding projects to amuse myself, that allows me to do gaming to relax including lots of indie titles and freedom to mod things to my heart’s desire (and contribute to some open source gaming projects with my own code!).
And I can upgrade it piecewise when I got money to spare, too (which mostly translates to spending like 100K every 6-8 years)!
You can track aircraft through walls…
That’s also disregarding all the subscription services you have to pay on console just to either A: play a game or B: play it with friends
So you can play against console players only, to not feel the disadvantage?
I only own console for single player games as i dont want to pay subscription to get multiplayer working (thanks sony, multiplayer was SUCH a great thing on PS3, so its only natural that next get must be pay2play after you already payed for the game) so i wasnt sure, but i saw that setting in several games i own.
The issue is, if you turn off crossplay you search like 1 hour for a match
is it possible to use gyro aim in wt? like for example if i had a switch pro controller or a steam deck
i imagine thats how console players could get some aim parity
(i also kinda want to try using my hacked switch as a makeshift controller)
pretty sure you don’t need one to play f2p games
