What all that boils down to is, you’re set playing your way and you want the game to adapt to you instead of you adapting to the game…

No. I am raising awearness of an issue. It is factually an issue. CAS is unfair, and unbalanced.
Regardless, what is your issue with a TO mode? I don’t want the current mode to be removed, i just want a second mode, where skill matters.

There is some seriously deluded people in this forum thinking planes are alright in a tank game. Only those that wanna keep their train sets stand behind them with no thought about the game. That’s the life we live in, who cares right?
How are you concluding that “not many people play arcade”? Is there some information that shows player count by mode? Genuinely curious if this information is available from Gaijin.
RB players tend to say that cause there are way more RB players active in the forums than AB players, in game the situation is very different.
No, but on the old forum someone took the time to check what were the most popular game modes and Ground Arcade was the most popular one.
You can always check the server replay and count the matches and compare, just don’t forget the Newbies Battles that are on a separate tab and are also in Arcade(but most players there are AI bots).
I play War Thunder since 2013, there were only planes. The first tanks were introduced in 2014. Ever since they were introduced it was combined battles, it’s what I like about WT compared to other tank games.
You’re around since november 2022, you seem to not like combined battles, but if you think they’re going to change that anytime soon just for you you’re deluded. But who cares, right?
I’m sorry, the game won’t remain unchanged. The game added night combat, and after listening to feedback, the night combat switch was given. The game also added a helicopter line, and after listening to feedback, the tank was given a helicopter line for development. GAJIN has been listening to the opinions of casual players. If you want the game to remain unchanged, that is your own opinion. The game will not remain unchanged.
They been going on about planes for over 6 years… It’s not changing no matter how much they stat-shame and advise people to exploit methods to avoid dying to the threat they ignore.

The only legitimate reason to retain air in Arcade is if the air spawn mechanic is changed to allow use of your own personal vehicles.
Air in AB and in RB is used mostly as killstreak mechanism that allows You to get the upper hand against a better player.
Ground Realistic Battles is combined battles.
The issue is the balance of CAS rather than the inclusion of CAS.
Ground Arcade is not combined battles. The air is randomized and is given the location of all players, it’s a UAV Strike a la CoD.
Unless Gaijin allows you to take in your own persona vehicles as part of this strike to provide research for them the mechanic has little value.
If it was about combined then air could start from the beginning. At the moment, air is used as a cheap killstreak mechanism.
I think AB would also be combined. Irregardless of it being ‘your vehicle’ or not, you’re still getting that vehicle.
