Compared to all of these IIRC it has worst ground pound capabilities while losing to fighters in speed.
I guess AMX International 2nd variant maybe AMX ACOL, could add to rank 8 and would be 12.0 or 12.3 BR
Embraer A-1M could be 12.3 BR in rank 8 and as part of the Rio de la Plata (Argentine-Brazilian-Uruguay) Tech Tree

It seems to me that the current AMX weapon may look a bit OP in 10.3, but in fact its pod can’t lock, so it can’t hit moving enemies or poorly rendered targets at long range, so it’s hard for me to think it should go to 10.7 or higher unless this bug is fixed.
And even if GAIJIN fix this bug later, I’d like to have some sort of nerf to keep it at 10.3. Italy really needs an excellent 10.3 CAS jet to replace the weak G91YS, because the 10.3 is the only thing worth playing in all of Cold War Italy
In the game it’s already called A-11B (designation for ACOL upgrade), though it doesn’t get any equipment which makes it B (mainly Lightning pod and JDAMs).
On the other hand I wish Gaijin rename current version into A-11A and leave it at its br, so Italy has a nice CAS for its 10.3 lineup, while, yeah, later add a proper A-11B variant.
Rename ? uhm maybe, I hope in first major update 2024 gaijin rename AMX → A-11A and in state card rename AMX Ghibli → AMX A-11A Ghibli
For AMX A-11B could add under Tornado ADV and would be 12.3 BR in rank 8 because armed 5th gen infrared Air-to-Air Missile, equipped Rafael Litening III targeting pod and INS/GPS guidance Air-to-Ground munitions

My biggest issue here is their not even using the right plane currently the loadouts are as if its the a11a ghibli but they stated its the a11b acol which had way more stuff as it was upgraded. they even have it stated in their wiki “The variant featured in the game is the A-11B / AMX ACOL” loadout and all that jaz is wrong thats why they have it stated as the AMX vs a specific one.
Unh I see but surprised gaijin mentioned, and Air-to-Air & Air-to-Ground armament on AMX ACOL very different from AMX Ghibli
The most overpowered thing is it is Italian, where if someone made it to top tier is a feat already. Yes the TAF exists however, but yea.

Look how I am doing badly in other planes. It shows the plane is very forgiving to play with.
Most planes with GBU’s are forgiving to play when not countered by enemey

No top gear, but AMX is deadly.
It is nothing special, but it strikes the balance between weaponry and airframe. Subsonic with incredible AOA potentials but rapidly bleeds energy, decent engine, stable aim, a decent payload allowing for some limited flexibility, AIM9L, up to 6 paveways. I guess that is its edge, it is not as fast as a jaguar nor does it have the wide variety of choice like a TRAM, but if we invert these comparisons, it is more manuverable than the TRAM and has a wider variety of loadout except for AGMs.
The TGTP not being able to lock on is a bug though, assuming it gets fixed.
That is only evidence that it fits your playstyle. Just as Sea Vixen fits my playstyle.
F-5C will still clown on the AMX, as well Mig-21, Jag GR1A, etc.
It’s A-11B in the Italian localization which is made by Italian consultant iirc, in Russian and English it’s just AMX Ghibli though
