Sometimes, I get tired of air to air missles, and I want to do some straight cannon work. Have you ever seen anywhere where a early model Sabre faced a plane that had air to air? I have not.
Sure enough those Aim9Bs are easy to avoid, but now and again, Im on a plane and here comes a plane with Aim9Es, not bad, and countermeasures, and LOOK, Im in a Sabre…
Whats going on with that? Is it a technical issue that is so hard to solve, to spread these BRs out?
Why not extend these BRs out to say 16, you keep packing these planes into 13 BRs or battle slots, whats the technical issue here?
No matter what, Gaijin will never put a hard wall between pure gun fighters and and fighters with A2A missiles.
You want to stay out of A2A missile BR completely? Then your best bet right now is to never play any aircraft that’s over 7.0BR - Because some aircraft get missiles as low as 8.3 - Minus the one 8.0 premium that gets 2 9Bs but that thing showing up is frankly rare. But that’s basically your only option right now, not go over 7.0BR
7.0 or lower. While 7.0 can be quite annoying due to the Super props, there aren’t any vehicles with AAMs you commonly face.
7.0 unless you see the german seahawk at 8.0, which has 2 AIM-9b’s but is quite rare. The lowest tier you can see player AAM’s though is technically 6.0 as the SK60B has MCLOS PF rockets although they are basically just fat AA.20 nords
Technically sabres facing early air to air missiles is correct.
soviet union managed to obtain and reverse engineer AIM-9B that got fired from ROCAF Sabre and got stuck without detonating in PLAAF MiG-17 during the second taiwain strait crisis 1958.
the lowest br they show up at is on 8.0 planes. so i suggest playing 6.7 if you have skill issue against
AIM-9Bs
