Air SIM Reward system NEEDS to be overhauled

We need an overhaul to the AirSB reward system.

The current system works in the following way:

  • Once you join, a 15-minute timer starts.
  • Within said timer, you need to gain score.
  • Once the timer is up, you get a reward.

Now this sounds fine at first, however:

This reward system is capped at around 5000 RP and 10-15k SL for each 15-minute interval.
At top tier, you would need around 1000 score to gain full rewards for the entire 15-minute period.

This system was made back when botting/zombing was an issue.
Gaijin, in their infinite wisdom, decided to bonk the rewards for everything, not just bombing/sitting on the runway.

As such, you can spend a long time in a single battle, with very weak rewards.

I’ve done a test. I’ve played AirSB in the SU-34. I had good and steady activity in the battle.

I am well aware that I missed a few intervals when it comes to score, but regardless.

The battle took 1 hour 30 minutes.
For that, I earned:
22,127 RP
153,231 SL ( - 102,648 respawn costs )

Now, I don’t know about others, but I average around 4-6k RP in a bad ARB match.
Considering that ARB battles at the same BR end rather fast (5-10 minutes at most), I would have gained the same rewards within just 4 ARB battles, coming in at around half an hour.

There are countless threads about this, but most are ignored, much like this one probably will be ignored.
But it’s honestly absurd how little reward is given for a harder game mode.

Not to mention how miniscule the silver lion gain is once you factor in respawn costs. Of course people can say “don’t die” but it’s much easier said than done some days 🤣
