Same as with extra roads: They fuel the problem and create even more traffic.
You might as well introduce a second “To Battle” button: “To Bomb”. That will give you instantly 5000 RP and 0 SL as well as 8 min of crew lock in all nations. You get your fix and the fighters have their fun. ^^
there should be a thing a set number of strike aircraft/ aircraft are selected to bomb in a match. For non-selected players there would be a force-field like when you leave the map in GRB and would be teleported back to regular flight path. Maps would need to be Altered/ Changed
The first fix (imho) would be to repair the scoreboard. ATM, you can’t see what some team planes carry. You don’t even know who else has bombs. That would be the first thing to fix.
If you can guess the plans of team members, you can plan yourself.
Throw napalm at vast areas of forest was never the intended use of the jets strictly speaking, fairly precise strikes were but turns out they also were really good as dropping tons of napalm
Compared to the precision the Tornado could achieve, especially in attack profiles other than essentially dive bombing the target like the F-4s. There is little equal.
But in game. The fact the Tornado is not only much slower but that Napalm is around 3x more effective is the issue. A Tornado has to lug 5-6 1K bombs to a base, the F-4 only needs 2x Napalm bombs to do the exact same amount of damage. The reduction in drag and weight, ontop of being faster platform to begin with and then finally able to better defend themselves is the issue we face in game.
Perhaps its time for CBUs to be added with the same kind of damage multiplier Napalm has
I played some ARB today to spade some new planes due to stupid FOMO for a plane I’ll never use.
Torpedoes.
Torpedo bombing is kind of non-existent, and torpedo bombers have no real role in most ARB matches.
Well, the thing I missed from 2014 or so?
I finally had pacific maps to fly on! Unfortunately, not on torepdo bombers but it was still cool.
As so - less “damage multiplier”, more “speciality targets.”
Torpedoes suck vs bases, but they sink boats better than even loose lips.

So… On the gameplay side in ARB…
Napalms completely made conventional bombs useless. That is why Phantoms beats Tornado in this game for base bombing purposes.
Napalm bombs which need to eat a single base are way lighter than their conventional counterparts.
It also has lower drags.
in conclusion, F-4E/F armed with Four BLU-27/B for two bases might go faster than Tornado IDS armed with five 1000lb LDGP for single base. for [Mindless-Race-To-Base-For-Rewards] because they are lighter.
( I didn’t test the acceleration of F-4E with 4 BLU-27 so this conclusion can be wrong.)
Then even if we increase the number of bases in the current status of ARB, nothing will gonna change for Tornado which will reach base slower than Phantoms.
If we only compare both Phantom and Tornado with no napalm or Rocket(Version of Before FFAR’s death for rocketing base.)
Tornado IDS can easily beat Phantom badly for the base bombing.
When Rocketting wasn’t popular so everyone mounted 5~6x 1000lb or 12x 500lb bombs.
No Phantoms can run faster than Tornado IDS of mine unless They
Set fuel to minimum fuel for less weight
No A2A Missile for fewer drag and even less weight
Because I was accelerated way faster than them.
And that was why I seldomly got TK by AIM-7E from F-4EJ ADTW while I played Tornado GR.1 XD

Does F-111F have the option to use Napalm on their custom loadout?
In normal pre-made loadout from Gaijin, I can’t see any of Napalm unlike F-111A does.
(Got the F-111C but 92k left for 111F)
