WT is a lite version of a sim. We all know that.
It’s very simplified in many aspects, so don’t expect 1:1 RL accuracy everywhere.
Sometimes I’m just happy that the planes fly in the right direction and the lift vector shows up. 😅
But jokes aside: This is a game after all and a game, especially multiplayer PvP, needs balance.
Without, the players leave and your game dies.
This is why BRs shit on historic dates, (e.g. Me262 would just club every 1944 prop. at 6.0), unstable prototypes fly like a charm and missile PoKs are ignored.
No one will use a crap missile with 5 or 10% kill chance.
And radar missiles are so dumb and easy to dodge by just flying low, the rest doesn’t make any difference anyway.
Realism will always be second place after balance.
No one will play a game where he is clubbed 1:20 and say: It’s fine, it’s realistic that way. Let’s continue".
