all you have to say to these people is “yes” and move on. This is how the game goes. When the MiG21 SMT and F4E were was added, the F-4E had every advantage, then they added the viggen, then the MLD, then they added the mirage 2000, then they added the whatever and so on. This patch is for france, and i’m okay with them dominating for once, because asking for balance and getting it is not possible.
The amraam is good, yes, it has the best range, but why would range matter when none of the missiles is able to strike a 20km hit unless you directly headbutt into it at 10k? the mica is just superior, it’s multipath resistant, unlike the r77 and the aim120. Besides, aim120s adore chaff for some weird reason. AIM7s on search mode (non PD) hare better hit rates lol. The meta is still the furball and the missiles that pull the hardest and are the hardest to defeat are still the kings. The only thing with amraams that thrives is the gripen because even despite the nerfs its still an f16 block 10 on steroids and has the snappiness to dodge, notch and yeet without worrying about anything.
