Call me crazy but after grinding the entirety of USSR ground tech tree, I didn’t find anything “Wow.” to state it’s the only tech tree worth to grind.
You should, if you didn’t, check minor nations specially Japan and Italy, which both have the most variety of vehicles in the game, compared to the Main three or any Major Nation, which have Ctrl + D vehicles, specially on higher BRs.

The U.S air tree is incredibly capable and contains some outright busted planes at both prop and jet tiers.

France ground (atleast below rank VII) is worth it too. There are many unique tanks or modifications, and it’s one of the better minor nation ground TTs.

I play every nation. I think that doing this is best, as you get to learn all the vehicles this way. (Also, that crew lock stuff doesn’t matter if you can keep switching nations!)

This is a bad take. A lot of nations are worth playing.
There are for sure “wow” vehicles in the Russian tree but this is pretty subjective. IMO a few of the most broken vehicles in the Russian TT are the Object 906, BMP-2M, and ZSU-57-2.

USSR has pretty mediocre air tree. It’s pretty strong at low tiers because of the handheld hold S to win props, but most of the jets are extremely wonky to fly, and they are quite lacking in 13.7 battles.
I’d say US air is by far the best, but has one SMALL issue: Bad teammates. USSR air is worse than most of the competition at most BRs.
No i am not a “russia main” nor do i main any particular nation.

Wait long enough and everyone will have the same stuff regardless, for now I regret playing Germany ground, and especially air and I haven’t touched it in months when I’m expected to be interested in a Phantom for top tier.
