magic 2s are as easy to defend for a 11.0 plane as they are for a 11.7 plane. and it only gets 2, all you need to do to defend magic 2s is preflare, the mirage f1 is literally one of the least threatening aircraft in the bracket, i dont think ive ever saw one and was slightly worried.
yeah that was a typo on my part. 9es arent bad, 9j wouldnt be bad on it i guess but its 10.0. and 7ds are just straight up good for 10.0
No, they aren’t. They are just the literal only option available besides R-3R for SARH and a lot of people would say R-3R is better lmao
I’m sure CM counts are always the same between all BRs, and that planes can maneuver just as effectively at every BR to position for flaring, and that 10.7s without flares facing the magic 2 is fun

yeah pretty much, maneuvering is of fairly little importance in that case too. are there even 10.7 flareless planes? and those flareless planes would get smashed by any ir missile,
and in imo its far harder to dodge and r24r than it is a magic 2.
why would it use an export missile? also aim9p is literally just an aim9j with radar slaving, and the f4e is plenty good at its br, ESPECIALLY the kurnass with 9gs
Yes, but the USAF and USANG also used them, and they were often remanufactured from older AIM-9s. In addition to that they’re explicitly mentioned in the manual. Also they have a small edge over the J in game, as they can be radar slaved.

Problem is We already have another aircrafts that is identical/side grade at same BR, just like F-4J(USN), Phantom FG.1, F-4J(UK).
If you already have one of them, there is no point in playing the other variant except for backup or stats padding.
Also, current F-4S RWRs are not modeled correctly for somehow. Afaik, ALR-45F(V) is just ALR-67 without C band detects so, it should be huge upgrades from original ALR-45(V). These RWRs should be corrected ASAP, but if they are, F-4J(USN) will lose the point to play completely when both aircrafts has same BR.
9H is a bit underwhelming for 12.0 tho
f4j uk isnt a sidegrade its a downgrade imo
