Gaijin feeds off of our suffering. We are suffering, Gaijin is happy.
Too bad not enough people care at one time to boycot the game for a month. If 2/3rds of the playerbase just stopped playing things would change quick if they wanted to keep the game alive.
Never venture into conspiracy theories when incompetence is present : )
I really think they just lack a company wide direction. The other Gaijin games seem to suffer that same fate.
We are of course assuming everybody is unhappy.
My suggestion is simply a paying customer or one time paying customer has an issue and requests something form the company .Just like making a long term customer suggestion to BMW or Ford or McDonald’s or Pepsi .
That always seems to be present.
In another thread Im having to explain why spawn camping is low skill/unfair gameplay.
While I do want to play some of their other games, and I cant till i can get my account “transferred”, it does seem like they dont put near the time and effort into them as they try to for war thunder.
Also other companies that dont listen, or care about, their customers.
Pespi poisons us, BMW and Ford would turn driving into a subscription if they could.
Imho the slogan “incompetence is present” does fit to the whole conversation - the thread is totally derailed.
No offense, but imho you measure the game by your own standards - and these standards are not applicable in a shooter.
These universal rules are valid for most shooters:
There is no such thing as fair game play in a shooter - so discussing this topic in a way too heated debate and calling out others as “dirty players” does not really fit to the rather high quality posts i saw from you in other topics.
I still remember a match in SWBF 2015 (infinite spawns) which i ended as #1 player in my team with 8 kills and zero deaths (whilst being spawn camped for the whole match) in a 20 vs 20 lobby - whilst a poor soul on the other team needed more than 90 kills to get the first place.
So it is just a matter of your overall perspective.
If i see this:
I just recommend reading this:
So the pure fact that gaijin “don’t listen” is just based on the fact that these opinions are not relevant for them.
I think that kinda defeats the point. Grinding is the most effective way of keeping a plyer active in this game. the moment you dont have to grind towards a goal you will stop playing since the is no reason to do so. I grinded through the entire German air tree and when i reached the last plane, I felt empty. for a entire month i just opened the game to keep the daily log in streak going but dint play becasue i already got what i wanted. That month was the most depresing month i had in years. The solution to not commit toaster bath was starting to grind the russian air tree for the Su34 (and future russian CAS) since they get better things over all and 3 days ago I also got to that plane. Im convinced once i get the rest of the tree pasivly I will probaply start the american TT and the rest just so I have a goal and just skipping that entire process would mean players would just play their favorite vehicle for a month, spade it and leave the game since it is simply a frustrating game to play without a set goal. this decicon would instnatly kill the game and this would benifit noone.
I think people want stuff like this (along with being able to tst flight all the vehicles) simply because they see the goal as his desirable thing yet as someone who has achived that goal I can tell you the actuall goal was that grind towards it. It was the path to it. It was the learning to adapt to all the diferent br’s and changing META’s for each tier that makes this game the way it is. And is it really worth it to throw that away?
If im honest I kinda wished that grind was a bit longer becasue I really like german vehicles, but since i have all the german planes there is no reason for me to play them. and I also dont want to waste RP that could go into the next german planes once they come out.
So trust me when I say this: The grass is always greener on the other side.
If u grind normaly u play more time and more games and u get more experience
Also u learn how to play diffrent vehicles and roles
New mechanics etc etc
Oh and u have a line up so u dont need to 1 death leave and ruin the game
Game style changes due to vehicles and BRs. And no amount of learning how to BnZ or turnfight will help you to be good with BVR and radar. You only learn this by playing high tiers
(and youtube tutorials, because this game does not have any sensible tutorials)
Thats in arb its much less of an issue for me
But even in arb if u play bf109 u will learn how to df and basic mechanics and tactics of the game
After that u will reach first gen jets and missiles and u learn to use them
After that u will learn early simple radars with radar missiles and how to defend with rwr
Also practicing om your awearness which is very hard with so many missiles
And then when u will reach top tier and fox 3 meta u wouldnt just fly towards to take 120 to the face
Exacly and then u are not ruining top tier matches and u less bad at the game cuz u learn the machanics where they supposed to be learned
A noob player in top tier wont last long against average player but it can do well in low br when u just need to fly the plane and use the guns with no radar, missiles ,cm…
