A fair balance and a new idea to war thunders problem with wt market

just leave it as it is

problem with wt market is that it exists.

it should never be added to the game in the first place

I object. Thanks to its existence War Thunder is more inclusive for players who are interested in lesser known or very famous vehicles as well as collectors. But the prices are quite insane sometimes.

Wrong.

It is a cashgrab. Simple as that.

No sensible human can think that 2000 USD is fair price to buy a digital vehicle.

It is a videogame about tanks, not a stock market tycoon gamble casino.

It is a spawn of satan. It’s evil and should never exist

I do agree with your reasoning, but until the devs introduce a better alternative, this is the only realistic option besides the Battlepass Box for obtaining these interesting vehicles.

Camouflages from the Marketplace will never come at cheap price, it will always be kept behind some paid wall and for good reason: it involves real money, since it isn’t Gaijin who made said camouflages, part of the gain from each buying or selling proccess is given to their respective creators.

If Gaijin is willing to pay the user-generated content creators, this is a good idea, but it’s a free-to-play game and it’s obvious that Gaijin will try to make much money as possible. This is a purposely imbalance due Microsoft’s and Sony’s policy to ‘gamble’ and in-game markets involving any amount of money.

It’s crazy that crossout which is a game developed by Gaijin has an ingame marketplace for all platforms, yet war thunder doesn’t have that…

That $2000 number is purely sensational, and useless. It’s like describing Americans as the richest nation because Elon Musk lives there.

what they should do is bring back account transferring. I’m sick of being stuck with this stupid account while the vehicles i want to get more expensive.

What do you want to say, because you are not making any sense. Maybe it’s a language barrier? Can you explain?

Vast majority of items on the market are under 10 GJN. Why would you cite a number of $2000? This is not at all representative of the data, and makes your point weak.

Because that’s a fact.

You have E100 for 2000, IS-7 for 1700, and plenty of vehicles around 400$+

That’s just stupid

And seeing your poor attempt at defending the stock market is just pathetic - you are probably one of that guys who bought 2 camos for 0.23gjn and sold them for 0.64gjn and now you are big bussinessman.

lmao

Dont they get paid in gaijin coin?

The way of obtaining these vehickes was by getting them when they were available in events. If you missed it you missed it.

I missed the sturmtiger event because I was on holiday but I got over it. I missed the EBR-1963 because I was on pause for the game.

And I got over it. No sense crying over spillt milk.

If this richthofen122 Guy was still around, He would get quite the meltdown now. Telling you what for an evil exclusivist you were, doing tirades of how communism is needed in this Game and Community exactly due to player opinions like the one you expressed in your comment.

But He is not, and I personally just disregard the opinion in your comment because I disagree with and dislike it.

Not entirely correct, the creator only get paid for the first time a skin is acquired through a crate. Not every market transaction.
There are also other ways for the creators to get paid:

Depends, see above.
But the crate skins get paid out in GJN as far as i understand it. Those are however specifically marked as “user share” GJN and can be extracted if it’s over 500 GJN of those specifically marked ones (so they can’t get 300 from skins and then buy 200 to then take out 500).

Well you do what you like.

I have been playing this game since before the market existed and back then if you missed a vehicle you missed it. It just was how it was. Nobody complained as much as nowadays.

Franky spoken: I appreciate your efforts but imho the proposal won’t work.

It actually doesn’t matter if MS, Sony or Gaijin are too greedy or not - fact is that every solution regarding the market place access for console players circles around money - and who gets which share.

I encourage you to create a suggestion like following:

  1. Gaijin to crate boxes (to be purchased by GE) which allows temporary access to the market place for console players.
  2. Every transaction within this temporary access (like buying GE/GJ Coins or just trading items) will be tracked by gaijin and Gaijin, MS & Sony share the profits/income based on a pre-negotiated ratio.

Benefits for involved parties:

  1. MS and Sony won’t lose customers and/or potential income (GE & general sales) if console players get frustrated and opens a PC account.
  2. Console players can get temporary access and spent real money / GE - this is a currently not used as revenue stream by gaijin.
  3. Console players would have a temp access and would not feel like 2nd class customers.

Example:

  • Gaijin creates temp access boxes:
    Equivalent of 50 USD/€ per day or 100 USD/€ for 3 days

  • Every transaction within the 2 time frames is tracked - GJ & MS/Sony get each 50% out of it. Just a small attachment to their framework agreements.

  • So GJ, MS & Sony generate income which might have never been generated - a classic win-win - including players.

Last remark:

Why 50$ / 100$ crates for just 1 or 3 days?

  • Main reason is that this ensures a bottom line income for GJ/MS/Sony even if console players make no further transactions.
  • The time limit itself ensures that MS & Sony can keep their overall strategies (purchases just via their stores) but allows them to earn money without compromising their own policies.

Have a good one!
