On February 23rd 1918, in view of the escalating situation at the World War I front lines, the Council of People’s Commissars announced the start of a large-scale recruitment of soldiers into the ranks of the Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army. Four years later, February 23rd became a holiday, and soon after World War II it was called the “Soviet Army and Navy Day”.

Additional details:
- Your activity must not be below 70%.
