I feel like other tanks are far more oppressive in downtiers, but I guess it is fine considering the decomp we got (I forgot). Really we need like, 15.0 for GRB and decomp from 7.7.

i think the arguments for the 2s38 remaining at 10.3 would be more valid if they weren’t contradicted by almost every other ifv. It has 30% more pen than the Strv 9040c, 140% more than the desert warrior, 120% more than the m3a3, and 90% more than the puma. Yes, it has -5, but across almost all ifvs across all BRs pen trumps disadvantages. You have things like the BMP-2MD at 8.7 with 82 pen and -4 or the VBCI with 92 pen and -7 at 9.3. Even the strv9040c only has -8 at the same 10.3.
You can question if its OP or not, but the logic applied to other ifvs doesn’t fit with the 2s38.

Seeing how top tier moved to 12.7 I think 2S38 could go up to 10.7 for the sake of decompression. I think it’ll perform there just fine.

I bring 44 rounds in 2S38 and have yet to use more than 30 of them, if I ever even did.
If I cared about survival and stopped trying to get nukes with my 2S38, I could drop its APFSDS count to like 10 and still have more than enough ammo for a high KDR.
