The problem is everyone’s experience is different. That’s why subjective data is so useless. There have been people in here that say it’s awful at higher tiers and I believe that in their experience it might be true. I personally have seen this thing spammed consistently, and some of them by competent players who do exceptionally well. And some just die right off the bat. Subjective data means nothing and that’s the reason I try to avoid using arguments of that type. But I share the same experience as you sir.

What that it makes for a really useful light tank especially vs CAS and Helis? I’ve been downed more in both my a10 and heli by the 2s38 than any spaa when playing 10.3

I’ve heard this same argument rounding to about 5 times in this same post, and I’ve debunked it the same amount of times. I play the 2s38 as an aa which is what it realistically is. I don’t play it as the meta the game makes it out to be.
Once again that is subjective data, bearing no relevance to the actual inherent abilities of the vehicle itself.

All vehicles in this game are balanced first as what they can do (at the moment of introduction) and later via stats.
If You want to change that, You would need to do that with all vehicles not only one because You feel like it.
The best solution for the game would be SBMM and looking at what best player do but hey, welcome to WT
I wish I see more 2S38s, they just continue to feed my Abrams and some of them are fat enough that they literally hit 4.0kdr mark already
