10.3s like the Abrams, Leopard, T-80B already went to 10.7.
The 2S38 went from 10.0 to 10.3, but should still go higher.
The T-80UD is quite strong at 10.3, but then the Chinesen T-80UD would have to go to 11.0 to keep it fair.

I would rather take the TTD in most cases, especially when against another T-80UD.
People also like to slept on the 120s, never have anything at 10.3 delete everything so effortlessly even when brought to 11.3 as backups, it has end game dart, 5 seconds reload and late game Abrams FCS 13x gunner zoom and thermals. The only trade off is the slow speed, but that much firepower alone is a war crime lol that bro is a better hull down sniper than M1A1 and IPM1 at 11.3 because of 13x zoom and gen 3 thermals
120S should be same BR as T-80UD imo
T-80UD having slightly better mobility and much better all-round armour, but 120S having much better firepower, gun depression and FCS.
If only the 120S’ turret ring was immune to 30mm APDS 😔
Comparing 2S38, Begleit, HSTVL, etc to IFVs is a bad comparison.
TTD is an extremely mobile thermally equipped MBT that fires 105mm DM63.
The closest equivalent in the Soviets is T-80B, which is more armored and thus 10.7.
120S is 10.3, M60 AMBT is 10.0, Sabra is 10.0, AMX-40’s 10.0, ZTZ-96A is 10.3…
Vickers Mk7 is at 10.7 while being vastly more mobile firing a slightly better round, is thermally equipped…
Why would I play 10.3 Soviets when my 10.0, 10.3, and 10.7 lineups are better in Britain, China, USA, France, and Israel?
We can say IFVs should be separate from Begleit, HSTVL, 2S38 more…
More armoured than what?
TTD, the topic of the MBT section of that paragraph.
But so is the T-80UD?
The T-80UD/T-72B get worse general mobility and a lack of thermal optics for their armor, which is still defeated.
Out of all the vehicles in my list, only AMX-40 has a round notably worse than T-80B BTW.
And yet, thats the case across nearly the entire bredth of all autocannon vehicles. If you want more pen, you pay for it in fire rate or significant disadvantages (zsu 57/2). Hence my post that the 2s38 doesn’t follow the rules of other autocannon ifvs. Even AA follow this rule, with their BR often determined by pen rather than AA capability and many getting moved around because their pen was too good for their BR. Everything from the 37mm and 40mm AAs getting moved up to the falcon and amx30 DCA going up despite no/awful radar. How have you played this long and don’t know this?
Sounds like you are using your own bias to read comments how you like. Again, that you don’t understand that autocannons have been balanced by pen across nearly every br in this game is astounding. Some would think willfull ignorance.
I think it’s a mix between the two (as it should be).
The reason why Falcon went from 7.3 to 8.3 was because it was too good as an anti-tank and anti-air role at those BRs. At 8.3 it’s still pretty good in both roles, though the SPAA role for it has worsened more-so than its anti-tank role.
ZSU-57-2 being 7.0 is purely because of the fact that it’s a pretty mobile tank with relatively fast-firing 150mm pen APHE shells and good gun handling. Its use as an SPAA is effectively non-existent, so that would align with what you believe.
However, stuff like the M247’s BR is basically purely because of its lethality against aircraft with its dual 40mm proxy slingers.
Same with the Veak 40, where it used to be 8.7 (now 7.7) before they took away its proxy, despite its pretty good AP and APHEI rounds still existing.
Autocannons are not repareted from the platform on witch they’re installed… ignoring the advatages/disadvatages of those platforms and only focusing on the autocannon caliber and penetrationv (as you do) is wrong and truely ignorant and shows YOUR bias becous all of the quoted vehicles are better platforms than the 2s38 and you know it.
The 2s38 has the least gun depression, but it has the best hp/t, optics, and by far the fastest traverse. It also has a remote turret, unlike all the others. Trying to say its the worst platform is literally only looking at one stat. Accusing me of bias because you want to cherry pick one stat is funny.
There is a reason you see 10x as many 2s38s as desert warriors or 9040cs. Its just that much better.
thats not it
there is a very good reason so many people play it - its a goddamn premium
a turret with ammo mind you
The wolfpack has crewless turret unless it don’t count for you.
Again… you ware the one picked one stat - the penetration… and now try to gaslight me and victimise yourself… Nice try, but No.
So please explain why there are tons of 2s38s and nearly no centurion AVREs. People don’t play bad premiums. People also don’t get nukes with bad premiums yet nearly everyone playing at the br can attest to seeing 2s38s get nukes with consistency.
Cool, you have ammo in your turret. I’ll take that over 2/3 crew in turret meaning nearly every turret hit is lethal. At least 2s38 has locations it can survive turret hits. Wolfpack doesn’t use an autocannon.
@V_Rohnin_V stop playing dumb. Pen is the the most common stat used to stratify tanks. A 9.0 tank and a 11.0 tank are often split by little more than round selection. Your assertion that the 2s38 has the ‘worst chassis’ is again only by your own metrics, not by looking at a broad selection of relevant stats. Thats not gasslighting, thats fact.
Sure, thats why it has such insane stats, because it’s a nuke machine, everbody gets nukes in it consistently.
How far did you shove the stick up your straw man?
Almost every single premium vehicle that has been moved up br hasn’t had ‘insane stats’ except the is6. Doesn’t mean they aren’t OP. In a remotely competent player’s hands, the 2s38 is OP, hence the mountain of topics on it.
The mountain of topics on it come from dogwater players, thats the only reason to it.
