and iam wrong on that i had the impression that the 2S38 had a 50mm instead of a 57mm
but the bagel is always the main argument that ppl bring up when they say the 2S38 is fine where it is / should go down

A bad player will always complain to have bad vehicles…
You are a Ground Arcade player main anyway, it will not affect you little boy.
Not my best response, but sums up my beliefs pretty well.
Blatantly overpowered? Maybe when it’s survivability was impeccable? You can one shot this thing pretty much anywhere but the rear. Not to say it is weak, but it is not even close to overpowered anymore.
i can tell your in the files
The remote turret and the hulldown ability that gives is a notable advantage when it comes to survivability compared to quite a few other AFVs, but if we pretend the 2S38 was 100% identical in every respect to all the others bar shell performance then why is it the same BR?
| 100m | 500m | ||
|---|---|---|---|
| Ajax | 156mm | 150mm | |
| PUMA | 120mm | 114mm | |
| CV90 | 113mm | 108mm | (CV90 uses Bushmaster which is common on a lot of vehicles, including the Namer-30 at 11.3) |
| STRF 90C | 169mm | 163mm | |
| 2S38 | 222mm | 210mm | |
| Bag-57 | 133mm | 119mm |
Especially when factoring in ready rack sizes too for some, like the STRF 90C’s 24 rounds, vs the 2S38s 148 rounds.
Its closer to the HSTVLs pen at 12.0 than it is to most other 10.3 AFVs interms of pen. Its kinda insane actually its not already at 10.7 and would do just fine at 11.0. (and the HSTVL does have a lower RoF and quite a limited pool of ammo)
So purely looking at shell performance, I think “blatantly OP” is actually a good term to use here.
what? T80UD with a 6 second reload is likely to move up to 10.7 as well BTW.
The 10,7 russian lineup with the T72B 1989, T80UD, T72AV 2s38 BMP2M and Su25 is absolutely unparalleled.
WTF do u mean lackluster? 10.3 alone is one of the best lineups out there.
Cause it also is under BR’d man, it coudl easily sit at 10.0
How the HELL are you dying to a 2S38 at 3 KM AWAY? Stop flying straight.
A chassis that is quite slow due to its terrible transmission and in this case, lack of HP/T.
2S38 loses a frontal engagement with any MBT in the game. The Leo 2, a very common MBT that it faces, is nigh immune to it.
If you lose a frontal engagement to a 2S38 in an MBT, you need to reconsider your own skill, or lack thereof.
Especially in terms of price to obtain.
You refering to rhe 100+ it costs to buy it?
Can get a TT su25, bmp2m is squadron, t72B 1989.isnt a prem. But i get what you mean man
But the folks that harp on about the premium lineup as if it doesn’t cost over a hundred euros baffles me.
Though that doesnt mean the line-up shouldnt be balanced though. Ive seen a few argue that premiums should be OP because they cost money
You can get TT Su-25 but that’ll force you to go through a big chunk of the air tree though.
That lineup is only good if you can throw out significant amount of money.
The lineup is balanced mate.
2S38 is moving up, T80UD will likely move up.
T72AV turms is a shadow of what it used to be.
BMP2M while agitating is nowhere near what it used to be when I started.
Even then it doesn’t make it instant win, hence the horrific KD on said vehicles.
We can hope it moves up.
It took 3 years to get the 2S38 moved up and it use to be waaaaay stronger and its only moving 0.3.
T-80UD probably makes them too much money to move.
It also took them not even a month to move the terminator a full BR up so it’s swings and roundabouts mate
is there a template to make this?
