I would like to suggest this little fun Field Mod of a Steyr 1500A with a 2 cm KwK 38 L/65 and Mg 34 mounted in their Sockellafette taken from a Sd.Kfz.222 which was possibly destroyed and as such reused with its little gunshield.
In game This vehicle would be extremly vurnable as it has no armor, however would be really fast (105 km/h), well armed with the 2 cm and coax Mg 34 to shoot at other tanks and planes and zooom from position to position, maybe as an event vehicle or so. It would show the need of the german army to reuse and use every equipment as possible in every form modified or not to fit their needs and fill the holes.
Exact history is unknown, however as i allready wrote, the german army used everything they captured and modfied what the needed to fit their role, as such even destroyed and taken out own stuff was often salvaged and reused, such as this Sockellafette with its little gunshield, which was taken off a Sd.Kfz.222 which propably got destroyed or was damaged and salvaged for parts, as those were also quite sparse.
With the exception that it is visible from Sonderkomando Dora (the Symbol on the hood) and from North Africa in 1941.
The Steyr 1500A was the All wheel drive version of the Steyr 1500, which was a light truck and heavy Troop transporter by Steyr Daimler, with production from 1942-1945 and later under Steyr 270 until 1968 produced, it was one of the most common with 7.000 produced in the 1,5 ton class along the Sd.Kfz.69 and 70.
