1 death leaver - J out - Protest

Given the state of matches nowadays, do you think J.ing out of matches, 1 death leavers and the sheer amount of people doing so now could be seen as a sign of Protest for those in power to sort this HUGE issue out.

Game play has quite literally deteriorated to a point whereby its become wipe out mode.! Battles are so inconsistent, hugely bias one way or the other and not very enjoyable and or engaging.!

I played 5 matches today, each way swing - 1 match was quite literally over before it had even started with enemy invasion straight onto the spawn - GAME OVER.

I’m seriously concerned that this is now a “Fortnight” quick play game rather than what it used to be, some of us remember - intense, strategic, team effort. Seems that is no longer and in fairness there’s no real reward in game for even bothering to try!

So what’s the solution? ignore it, just play the game, pray for a decent match as I really don’t know anymore.

The match below is another indication of what has become, I know I don’t bother anymore if a match is abundantly obvious its a “Swing” match.!

I doubt that people leave after one death because of some way of protest, in fact is more simple: Map is terrible, uptiers, vehicle selection, the expectation of performance aren’t good so why keep trying something again and again being sure that’s won’t improve? Move to another match and that’s it. You can call it protest, but indirectly. Advance event has shown that assymetrical battles doesn’t work in War Thunder, at least how it’s now, maps are assymetrical, one team will lose and be pushed back to spawn and causing this whole issue.

Basically what i do, if im put into a map i despise im not going to spend my time on it, i have all but 2 nations i can go play another nation while i wait out the timer. Unless they give us more map bans or add a feature where we can vote on what maps to take out of rotation/rework its not going to get any better.

As previously noted, the problem is the mode itself. Especially in top- or high-tier, your first spawn is your most important one. If you die with it, chances are good that the enemies are already spawn-camping your team anyway. Why invest more time and effort then? It’s not like the intensive grind allows for wasting time unnecessarily. Time equals research points. It is simply more efficient to leave the match and hope the next one will be better. The map design is just extremely poor for modern tanks. On some maps, it takes less than 30 seconds from spawn to spawn, and you can sometimes shoot into the enemy spawn after driving just 50 meters. The pacing in this game is just very fast; accordingly, it’s 1–2 deaths, maybe a plane or heli if you have enough points, and then you’re out. Blame Gaijin, not the player.

aral sea be like

I was in some matches earlier today, they are taking the premium japanese light vehicle, rushing cap, rushing into enemy, dying and leaving, and getting into a new match.

its pretty terrible

Literally only 2 one-death leavers in there
