Top tier APS tanks for everyone needs to be a major priority.
I just find all this talk about other nations top tier kind of silly when Israel has one 12.7 tank, is stuck with the currently next to useless SPYDER SPAA and for aircraft is stuck with the F-15I.
I’ve started to grind China as it is certainly better than Israel at the moment. I just unlocked the VT4 this week.

I work 40 hours a week.
I play a minimum of 50 hours a week.
Plus I have premium and premium vehicles to speed it up even more.
This is the only video game I play currently.
VT4 is anything but an Top Tier MBT. It is an 11.7 / 12BR MBT sitting at 12.3/12.7BR. Well guess still counts as Top Tier…but you know what i mean. VT4 is just garbage and not even domestic used. VT4A1 isn’t even used by any Nation at all.
The ZTZ99A most likely will not get APS.
When Gaijin adds the ZTZ99B it will probably be the one with APS unless Gaijin does it like with USA and adds another 99A with APS and then an 99B w/o it despite that making zero sense. Or neither will get it 'cause Gaijin thinks VT4A1 is where its at (its not)
China has also put APS on their ZTZ96s recently so an 96A/B with APS could be added as well.
They may do exactly that. As the US doesn’t have a SEP v3 with trophy in its tree. Why make us grind one vehicle when you can make us grind three. At least that seems to be the reasoning.

Most Grind is always the reasoning else like 90% of Gaijins decisions with Vehicles straight up makes zero sense at all unless ofc grindmaxxing
Glad Germany made the 2A8 with APS right from the get-go intended as base-feature unlike US did with the v3 so Gaijin can’t pull that crap there…so instead we definitely get 2A7A1 before it and then 2A8 a year later or so.
The company sees grinding as potential revenue. Unless that changes the grind will continue.

Well it is but they are way to blinded by Greed and push it to much. Is also what leads many people to abandon the Game, play like crap or use ‘other ways’ to make it easier.

Yea or at least if we do not get an ZTZ99 with APS they should buff the VT4A1 and give it its Side-ERA like it has IRL and has been posted and reported here years ago already so that the VT4A1 actually is an somewhat competitive Top MBT with APS for China. And not just an basically 11.7 / 12BR MBT sitting at 12.7 cuz it has APS.

Nowhere in your original post there’s any question about. ZTZ99A is missing its GL-6 hard-kill active protection system, could be added to the game with no problems at all but you’re ignoring the fact that VT-4A1 exist on purpose:
Which mind you ZTZ99A don’t have great armor either, the explosive reactive armor is in fact great but the coverage is only on the frontal arc, same applies to the VT-4A1, so in your logic, why bother adding the GL-6 to the ZTZ99A if the vehicle is way too lightly armored for a battle rating 12.7 main battle tank? The math isn’t mathing in favour of your argument.
T-72B3A is indeed not a top tier vehicle, it can face battle rating 12.7 (top tier) matches, but it doesn’t define top tier:
If a battle rating 12.3 vehicle is top tier, so it’s a battle rating 11.7 vehicle because it also can face battle rating 12.7 matches. T-72B3A and VT-4A1 comparison is very superficial, none of these vehicles has nothing in common except the active protection system which their only difference is the countermeasure coutns.
And I’ll brought this up again; on the top right corner of a post usually there’s someone the post is replying to; which in this case was @Sytryse. If you care reading which apparently is not doing so, they made a argument that the VT-4A1 isn’t popular enough, so the ZTZ99A with GL-6 is needed, which I find off-topic. And if you read all my posts again, nowhere I said that GL-6 should be denied, I’m in favour of any way to counter anti-armor weapons as I’ve expressed in other threads about similar topic:
VT4A1 actually has ERA at its Side; Gaijin just doesn’t give them it.
The game player count is stable but stagnant. QoL improvements, in depth tutorials, as well as only releasing vehicles when other nations counterparts are ready would me a major start.
All top tier APS tanks should have been released at the same time.
It’s a blast. Blast doesn’t necessarily mean high win rates. By blast I mean fun. The new Boxer as well as the Boxer MGS plus the 2a4 and the Roland as well as the premium Tornado make a fun lineup.
Again China should get its APS tanks as should every other nation.
Yea; its beyond dumb how they split it between Updates for the Nations. Only ends up creating sort of where one Nation like USSR or now USA have their OP/Hayday for xy Months and then move onto next while everyone else suffers for the time.
Same with Spall Liners for Top Tier MBTs. 99A still doesn’t have it while being added years ago and probably the one MBT needing it most. Meanwhile then 2A7 get added with it from the get go or already much stronger MBT like the STRVs or T90 get it sooner with 99A still not having it.

Yea because not a single Nation operates the VT4A1 as of now.

China usually doesn’t use ERA at Side of their Tanks but they have been offered with it since long time ago. Like NORINCO has shown the ZTZ96s with Sideskirts for ERA too and the ZTQ-15 / VT5 have been offered with Side-ERA under the Heavier Armoured Package too.
Just seems like neither China nor any of their Customers so far (like Thailand, Pakistan with VT4 or Bangladesh VT5) have any interest in it for reasons.
The ERA actually does seem really good too. Some of the FY2 ERA Variants offered i think are basically like Kontakt-5 / Relikt ERA and the FY5 ERA China uses itself on 99A even better than Relikt according to some Sources or at least same-same
The VT4A1 is has little upgrade compare with the original VT4 is like adding upgrade package into it and reselling it as VT4A1.
Modification made would installing airco, local components instead imported Chinese components and compatible with Russian electronics. Software and hardware has been made compatible for Russian rounds and munitions reducing logistics and maintenance.
