Yugoslav Ground Tech Tree (Including Bosnia, Croatia, N. Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia!)

For future tech trees I would love to see this Yugoslavia and Alpine/Swiss+Austria tech tree. They are very unique and it shows creators tried quite well to be so.

Switzerland is now a German sub nation, so that’s not happening.

Another day.

Another update where they didn’t add a premium degman for me to irresponsibly spend my 80€ on

That is laughable ,Greek/Italian/Albanian/Polish resistance was 10 x more effective than Sweden ,Sweden was happily trading resources with Hitler whilst Nazis were hanging Greek/Italian/Albanian/Polish civilians for helping Partisans.

And then on whole another level you have Yugoslav Partisans …who not only fought Nazis and tied down division after division of Germans and Italians but also fought two collaborating armies ,Croatian Ustasha and Serbian Chetniks.
Yugoslavia is also only European country (apart from USSR) that liberated itself apart from help they got from Red Army in liberating Belgrade.
If this World was just…which it isn’t …at the end of the war there would have been Yugoslav occupation zone in Berlin and not French one.
French “La Resistance” was a joke (compared to Yugoslavs) that was made into myth thanks to Hollywood . Apart from the movies they were only really fighting Nazis in period of may-august 1944.

Facts brother. And yet, we have what we have. And it’s extremely saddening.

Not only Berlin ocupation zone but also regaining all the territories where the nations of yugoslavia lived since all the neighbours apart from greece worked with the nazis and all that.
Can you tell I am salty about Italy…

Swiss subtree in Germany has pretty much killed any hope of an alpine tree.

If the L-39 in the USSR tree solidifies the Czechoslovakian (and it’s successor states) vehicles into the USSR (We’ve seen vehicles move around before so I’m hoping it’s the case again), that leaves only Yugoslavia and a Latin American tree left as a fully feasible tree.

Hope they don’t fumble this one…

can you sir perhaps, help me with making a suggestion

Gaijin’s sub-tree system has completely ruined the game. Hopefully this tech tree doesn’t end up being the next victim.

It’s super annoying as it had a potential to allow smaller nations a spot ingame, yet it ends up weakening both the host and sub trees in terms of additions (barring Finland, which still had some unique vehicles skipped (had two zsu-57 variants unique to Finland but only add a copy paste from the USSR tree is certainly one of the decisions of all time)).

It will.

Or adding Hungarian aviation to Italy and Benelux to France, same thing People need to talk those as they are. It is Soviet TT in Italy and Sweden. And those aint Dutch or Belgian vehicles but American/British.
I consider modifications especially those that change main armament fairly indigenous. Engine upgrades or changes are fairly nice too :D

yeah I have the entire french air tree and almost the whole gtound tree researched and I have not touched the Benelux line except for the first few planes. The leos will stay unresearched because they don’t belong in the TT

I’m less disappointed with Benelux (still a quiet a bit) because they at least used some UK aircraft variants not present already, even then they missed a huge amount of opportunities in each branch.

Hungary was a travesty and a half. Not just for Italy, not just for Hungary but also for a V4 tree (which could’ve been partially fixed via Romania until gajin does it’s thing and locks Romania in Italy as well)

I can excuse using non domestic stuff if it’s not ingame already or needed to fill a gap but every subtree has been grossly misused and with every host tree that isn’t Sweden has been weakened in terms of room for new stuff, while also leaving all but 2 (maybe 3 if we assume a united korea tree isn’t squandered some time soon) potential full trees in an uncertain position or cut short.

I really hope that the tree folders get added at some point, so that both host and subtrees get thier chances to truly shine.

The problem I have is for example when they added M44, they added it to everyone for no reason. as for Air Tech Trees I do not see as big problem with some gaps since it plays quite differently. As for Hungary, Italy just did not need them in Air. Thai Subtree is did not even see a T of Thailand. I do not see positive future with current subtrees, which is unfortunate since I believe South African one was done very well.

South Africa was probably the best in terms of unique stuff (even the gripen c differed from Sweden’s in terms of armament).

The main issue was due to gajin’s 5 line policy, it heavily restricted and delayed several UK made light vehicles. That’s something more to chalk up to technical limitations rather than gajin in my opinion (which is partially being fixed by folders thankfully).

It was astonishing how none of domestic Hungarian aircraft/mods got added when the air tree came out, only soviet stuff and a gripen c at the end (which I’m unsure of it differs from the other 2).

Exactly this. Well, ZA is the most unique sub-tree, it was both uneeded(as the UK has a domestic vehicle to replace basically everything, bar like two vehicles) and didn’t fit the UK tree(due to them having better options/closer nations, if Gajijn wanted a ST anyways).

So ZA only gets at most half a point, as it only gets one thing right, just like Finland(which gets half a point for a different reason). There isn’t a single sub-tree that can be called a success; they all are failures(two of them get 1 of two things right, then fail on the other).

If sub-trees wanted to be a success, they need to be added as pseudo-trees, and not like this, pseudo-integrated into the host tree that they are right now. Something like folders for trees.

What’s partially baffling aswell is the lack of tier 1 AA between the light AA MK1 and the Staghound AA (which gajin vehemently refuses to use any domestic or foreign additions, which sucks because the light AA MK1 is probably the worst AA in the game)

Barring the gripen and other spaags, the South Africa subtree really didn’t fill in many holes as you point out.

(Linked an example of what could’ve potentially have been placed before/folderd to act like the German AA cars in the German and Chinese trees).

In the light of new premium packs I would like to recommend to add these type of vehicles to Tech Tree:

There is also an option for T 55 with literal bricks being added.

Crazy how we are getting a Dutch aircraft for low tier before Hungary even gets a low tier
