What do you think of the Conqueror?
Should it be at a lower br?
Cos 8.7 games are rly unfair to it, you’re just a black sheep there and since full uptier happens pretty much two out of three games, it’s not easy to enjoy playing it I feel like~
That is not issue unique to the conqueror and as such, cannot be sole reason for any balance change. Most vehicles struggle in full uptier.

Recently started playing it.
I’m doing pretty well however round is so inconsistent.
Feels like 180 pen not almost 500.
How solving the uptiering issue then?
generally speaking, game is due to some heavy decompression across most BRs and modes. id do that first and then place the vehicles accordingly.
conqueror specific, reload buff would fix most of its issues. its current RoF is outrageous considering the highly specific playstyle around its APDS.
doesn’t that thing have like 400mm of pen ( oh 500MM) that’s insane at 7.7
if its armor was historically accurate, It would be fine at 7.7.
Instead gaijin thinks the heaviest armored tank NATO ever built, should be getting its mantlet and Cupola penned by WW2 122 APHE rounds.
Meanwhile the thing was built to be proof to both 122, and 100 AP at any range.

So, basically, I should just skip UK 7.7 and directly go for Vickers xD
Whats funny is that the Conqureor in british testing was capable of like 8-10 second reloads. CONSISTENTLY.
And with the 1 off Gun rammer they got that down to like 5 seconds flat a around.
nah, id say 7.7 is one of the better lineups UK has. Vickers is good as well tho, if you can get expert crew + full trained loader, it gets 5.3 reload on 105mm gun which is just nasty.
a 5 sec conq would be funny to play but ultimately not balanced lol. but its current RoF needs to see some improvement, thats for sure.
I had a whole rant post about just how innacurate the Conqureor is, and the cuck that is Stona deleted it.
It genuinely is a competitor for the worse modeled vehicle in the game.
Side armor is too thin, the Mantlet armor is too thin, the mantlet is modeled completely wrong, the turret is pretty inaccurate too in its shaping.
I have a lvl 96 crew I mainly use, so yeah loader, gunner, commander… are full! And I can get expert too, but not ace
I unlocked way more tanks since I grinded a lot with the two premium Challenger 2, great tanks! But it’s top tier so I’m curious about lover tier and damn, at 7.7 I feel like there are way more enjoyable tanks than the Conqueror atm
You could sub the Caernarvon for the Conqueror, though it’s more like a slow medium - almost same as Centurion Mk3 with improved UFP.
it also should be capable firing a solid AP round, the L1 120 is a direct development of the M103s 120, and could fire the same projectiles, There are even testing reports of it firing the M103s Solid APC round.
Id have to find them however.
Infact MOST of the Nato tanks from that era used that gun, the AMX-50 as well could fire the American 120 projectiles.
