Do you need the extra cores on the 7950X3D? For gaming it’s the same or might even be worse than the 7800X3D because you have to pray that the scheduler only puts the game on cores that are tied to the V Cache (only one CCD is connected directly to it).
well i do play BeamNG + automation… so maybe?
I am not sure how BeamNG works. You’ll have to check benchmarks for it. But for Warthunder you won’t see any difference between 7950X3D and 7800X3D.
BTW what settings and res do you want to play War Thunder at? I have a 9800X3D (slightly better than 7800X3D) and a 9070XT (slightly worse than 7900XTX for rasterization) so I can give you some rought estimates.
