The artists who don’t use GenAI tools CONSISTENTLY have much higher quality in their output than the ones using the plaigarism machine to “save time”. You clearly think that the only thing that matters is output quantity, because you’ve fallen for the propaganda and the hype. Of course I wouldn’t expect someone who spends all of their time sealclubbing bottom tier to have good opinions.

Yeah that isn’t true. Art in AI generated images is like any other medium, the skill is in how you use it. Those who get it will be fine, those that don’t will need to find something else to do.

no, actually. people who use AI tools are consistently lazier with their output. Art without any AI usage in the process is always going to look better because the artist is involved in the entire process. People who trace over AI art are going to leave signs that it’s AI and get extremely defensive when called out. You can just say you don’t respect artists, it’s ok to say you suck as a person out loud.
I’m sure there is a program out there to help your recover from your technophobia.
true has in everything coming out of ai needs to be examined and rechecked. which i highly doubt they did given they missed a watermark.

It isn’t. The only ‘skill’ in using it is sheer patience for getting the random number generator to spit out a number that becomes an image that loosely corresponds to what you want. It’s basically Divination for visual design, it’s only ‘art’ in the sense that someone could call the process “more art than science”
If you’re trying to depict something that doesn’t have an absolutely massive pool of existing reference material of it from every angle in a situation that it doesn’t have a match to diffuse from, you would genuinely be better off learning to draw from scratch.
Aesthetic movements that favor perceived technical proficiency of the output over actual artistic intent behind the work pop up every now and then, make things miserable for everyone for a few decades and then collapse into their own footprint. They generally accompany certain sociopolitical trends but that’s a whole can of worms that far exceeds the mandate of the War Thunder Forums so we’ll ignore that

Sorry that I care about my friends and their wellbeing. It will continue to happen. The AI slop machine holds no appeal towards me because I value the process instead of just the end result.
The only thing generative AI should be used for is detection of anomalies in DNA or cells for medical purposes and only with two or more different humans verifying whether the positive is confirmed or not imo.

Correct! Medicine is the only truly practical use for LLMs! There have been multiple breakthroughs in medicine recently thanks to AI, but that AI is not the same kind of AI that is making the slop that plagues our world today.
