So… Can we talk about this? There seems to be a flood of napalm Yak130s that just hug the ground and bomb every single base within seconds.
This is the only area where they are probably directly under BRed.
Their modern avionic and HMD actually play a role in ASB, and make them very effecient and capable base bombers, They also have CCIP and CCRP, something that a lot of “comprable” BR aircraft dont have at that BR.
But 9.7 might be too high as well. Given its a bit of a compressed mess at the moment
Id bump them up to 9.3 though and there is 1 or 2 at 9.7 that probably should be 9.3
USA gets the AV-8s so its fair russia gets a fast plane to rush bases both a pain for rest of team that’s trying to bomb bases.
move to 9.7 sim only then
Buccaneer S1 & S2, A-4s, Vautour B, etc…
If Yak-130 is “under-BR’d” because it can bomb bases at 9.0… that does not bode well for its direct competition at and slightly below its BR.
CCRP isn’t a major factor.
CCIP is just ability to bomb a bit further out.
None have the quality of the HUD nor have HMD.
A-4 I dont think even has a CCRP indicator on the HUD.
With it lacking any missiles, Id go 9.3. Puts it at the same BR as something like the Buc S2
isnt the yak130’s hmd useless since it doesnt have a radar, radar missiles or armament to use said hmd?
i dont see why you keep mentioning it as if its a defining factor against other planes when it doesnt serve any purpose
It doesn’t have HMD modelled, there’s is no reticle. and if it had the HMD modelled properly it still would serve no purpose.
Also it has like 3 seconds of trigger time with no extra gun pods.
Give it gun pods or more ammo then put it at 9.3, other than that it’s just sitting ducks with avionics that serve no purpose.
I think it shows CCRP target points though, which makes locating them in cockpit a lot easier.
Set a point via the map and instantly see where it is in the HMD. I do this all the time in something like the Tonka GR4 and it makes it way easier to find the base.
Compare to comprable “ground attackers” like the A-4 or Hunter FGA9 at a similar or higher BR, and you have to locate the base totally yourself, looking for the buildings, which on some maps is actually kinda tricky.
Its not a massive performance buff, but it is a notable QoL upgrade that is usually only found at much much higher BRs
HMD isn’t a factor in the slightest.
& “high-quality” HUD would be one that shows a bombing target point, otherwise it’s just mid.
So yeah, Yak-130 is mid for the BR.
no russian hmd ingame has this capability, its just 2 orange circles. Only on later planes does it show your altitude, speed and target range. Thats it.
Its more like an hms rather than an hmd
So… Like a lot of aircraft at that BR then? If they even have a gun to begin with.
Buc S1 at 9.0 has no guns and no missiles.
Oh you mean like the F-86? Or the the Ariete? Unless you have god mode aim that you can take out everyone with a single bullet your argument is like total horsesh*t for moving this in BR without giving it anything to compensate like a gun pod. Lets also apply your logic to F-117 and put it at 11.0 while we’re at it since apparently the metric I’m seeing you use is avionics, not actual performance or capability.
Bro just reads HMD in the wiki and instantly goes Russian bias without even knowing the HMD isn’t modelled in the game and doesn’t do anything at all.
If you ever stop guessing about vehicles you don’t have about a specific nation you like to speak about would be helpful. Yak-130 doesn’t have a useful head mounted display, is purely to use the missiles Gaijin denied it to have.
The only advantage the Yak-130 has over other ground striker airplanes is the more informative heads-up display, other than that the airplane would perform the same in terms of ground strike. Flight performance—Yak-130 will have a clear advantage with a more nimble frame, higher acceleration and less obstructed view.
There’s no such feature for head mounted display yet in-game as far as I’m aware of that. It’s purely to slave air-to-air missile and lock into targets.
