An AD-1 or F4U could have killed the same targets.
Just bomb tanks, shoot down planes and kill squishy light targets with 20mm cannons.
If it continues to outperform others it will go up in BR.
Take another 5.0 like FW-109 D13 or F8 and try do the same. Yes both 5.0 as propaganda with wings aka Yak-9.

The 5.0 Fw 190s are 5.0 because of their flight performance.
And the F-8 is overtired for ground battles because it doesn’t get an airspawn in GRB and no one uses it as a ground attack plane in ARB.
The Yak-9K is a fighter that can kill ground targets but with the flight performance of a 3.7 plane.
So you are comparing apples with oranges here.
The Yak-9U at 4.7 has light years better fighter flight performance.
So the only good think about the Yak-9K is the excellent ground killing ability with okayish AA performance.
Any 4.7/5.0 fighter is going to stop a Yak-9K from ground pounding and/or shoot it down.
A more appropriate comparison would be Soviet 5.0 strike planes like the IL-10 and SU-6,
Which clearly don’t have the same ground killing potential in GRB.

As you have said there is no recoil in full real controls where there is no instructor. I tested it myself. You can shoot all the shells or untill gun jams and sight is not noving at all.

Nah, they are all better fighters than the Yak-9K. Faster, better power to weight, 20mm cannons with lots of ammo.
He shot down 3 planes and his last three kills were all light targets that you could kill even more easily with 20mm cannons.
Which leaves a Skink, a Jumbo and a Colliope that you can easily kill with bombs. Lastly the CA Lorraine can be disabled with 20mm cannons from the top.
Only when the sky is clear the Yak-9K has an advantage in killing more ground targets, due to the large ammo pool.

They get their performance once they dropped bombs.
If there’s a fighter nearby any of them is an easy kill. So it makes practically no difference.
The Yak-9K can probably go up in BR. Like I said, it basically outperforms strike aircraft like the IL-10 completely.
I mean I was never against the idea that it should be 5.7, where it’s completely outclassed as a fighter.
Even though I would question it whether a Yak-9K is better than having a plane with three 2000lb bombs that can easily kill mulitple targets, by just going for cap, with a single drop.
Unless you spam your shots, you won’t easily kill multiple tanks in a single pass with the 9K. Which then against forces you to RTB earlier.

Getting air kills in ground RB isn’t much of an accomplishment and doesn’t tell you anything about how well a plane does when the opponent is actually aware of you.
I could get the same results with an IL-10, if they start flying in front of my guns.
If the plane was so good how is it 4.0 in air RB?
It’s getting its ass kicked by practically any 4.0 fighter.
Is good killing planes, is good killing tanks, is good doing everything and only at 5.0…

Is an IL-2 good at killing planes because it easily destroys them when it shoots at them?
The Yak-9K doesn’t have the performance to be able to engage enemies at will, unless they are unaware.
It’s good at killing bombers and attackers or fighters loaded with bombs.
Other than that you’re just killing bad players and every plane can do that.
Well then take it out and dominate the sky.

Crazy because my M-51 just got front penned by a 9K due to its angle of attack flattening out my UFP. got one shot.

One nerf I can suggest is leading shot indicator from air arcade battles but translucent because of outrageous moves to confuse low tier spaa and improve radar for high tiers…
It’s not a point that the M-51 is supposed to be heavily armoured, but it’s a medium tank nonetheless and was front penned(front, not roof) by a Yak-9K and then one shot. Front penning you can maybe chalk up to glitchy spots or luck, but one-shotting? Nah. Plus I don’t exactly have a choice on whether or not a 9K will engage me.
It just shouldn’t have APHE belts, it was a fun experiment but it’s lasted too long. Planes like the P108A having it are acceptable, on account of the fact you’re lucky to get even a single shot off before dying.
