YaK-9 should be moved up to 5.7 in GRB

6.0 is a bit high but 5.3 for sure.

No aircraft in the game can do this.
I get 3 ground frags in the F6F.

Yak already has a higher spawn point cost than the F6F as well.

did bro not see the video i posted?

A video of someone showing off their skill against a team with less skill is not evidence.

Cross-analysis is evidence, and the F6F is 3.3.
AU-1 is 5.7 with 6 frags of bombs equipped before the 20mm.
F4U-7 is 6.0 with 3 bombs and 6 SNEB pods… oh and 20mm.
The Su-6 is 4.7 with 23mm and 2x bombs.
IL-10 5.0.
The German A10 firing better rounds is 5.0 [One of the Me 410s].

Superior to vastly superior options as CAS, and all are cheaper to spawn… except the Me410, that’s as expensive.

Experimentally

If it was produced in any number there would be more information on it or even some actual rounds.

The cannon was tested after WW2 on the Su-8, yet no one has ever discovered an NS-45 APHE shell.

Only APCR and HEFI-T.

All of those planes you tested except the f6 beats the 9k any day. No matter the pilot experience.

Can you pick the actual best loadouts for these planes and not whatever trash this is. An maybe also like relevant planes, unlike the su6 and me410

So the duck beats the yaK-9? nice

That is the best loadout and consider the Yak-9 it doesn’t even need a loadout man.

How about no?

Please do not talk about things you have no idea about.

Huh? What? The Yak-9K/U/T does NOT need bombs as seen. They have APHE which blasts Tigers. And other CAS planes need bombs/rockets/god knows what since their cannon isn’t a fridge launcher filled with the fury of Stalin. What do you mean I have no idea in this topic? What I have no idea, however, is what you are talking about, gentleman.

While having full CAS load?

The Yak-9 is in full CAS load and has superior roll performance to all but the spitfire.

Every other plane must ditch its bombs to have this performance. For a F4U-4/F6F to be able to offend vehicles that aren’t trucks or open-tops, it must have bombs/rockets which will increase their weight by 1/4 or 1/5 depending on fuel taken - alongside added drag so their SEP suffers massively while in CAS configuration. F4’s bomb does not make up this large portion of its mass (only 1/10), but F4 can also only carry 1 small bomb, same for XVI.

Is that such a difficult concept to process? The ability to maintain CAS-Capability to engage any ground target, multiple times, without sacrificing any A2A capability - in fact possessing the typical yak roll rate that allows it to force overshoots and control position.

And as such I doubt the “any day” part. Roll rate makes a massive difference in dogfights because you can take better angles and manage your pursuit curve better - it’s literally part of the reason why at high-speeds, hellcats/wildcats/corsairs can compete with zeros: the zero experiences control lock-up on ailerons at high speeds while the US navy fighters excel at high speed roll-rate.

Yup. That’s my point.

Are you actually dumb? Like I said earlier, you are new, inexperienced and not yet good at the game. This is incredibly evident in what you say. The 109’s best loadout is 4 50 kilogram bombs. The corsair and hellcat both have high-pen machine guns with lots of ammo that lasers out tanks. The spitfire (no idea why you are picking the mk 16 but ok) also has high-pen machine guns and very capable cannons against tanks. Like I said, against pilots of the same skill any of these planes (excluding the hellcat as I said earlier that you just ignored) will beat the yak. It loses energy too fast and cannot reliably get that energy back. If only you put the same effort you went to testing the planes into improving.

Go look at the US 20mms and the british hispanos.

I’ve only a few hundred hours flying prop tier at ASB, very new indeed.

Spoiler

P-51/C10 and F4U-4 are hurt by learning the game mode in them.
And would you look at that, green/purple in all planes except the p51C and F4U-4.

Why Mk 16? Because it’s the spitfire with the best roll rate within the BR range due to having clipped wings. Now, it sacrifices its turn rate for that, but it was good for demonstration. However, it is a plane I have beaten Ki-84s with using aforementioned roll rate into a forced one-circle fight.

As does the F6F hellcat.

And do you know how you can solve that?

Have altitude (just 1km RALT is enough) to bring the fight downhill.

Yak can as it can eaisly deal with air and ground.

I can destroy Tiger II H with one ammo while others have to use bombs/rockets for it. I can maintain good anti air capability while others have to get rid of bombs/rockets to do the same.

congrats, you’re new. You seem to stuggle using props an early jets, I suggest getting better. Also please stop using the colour rating of statshark, it really is meaningless. More telling is that you are negative in most of those planes which you seem to ignore. So feel free to reply again once you actually play cas and then have a basis of what is good or broken or not. I am really not going to waste my time further arguing with someone who doesn’t play cas and gets a kill in rb 50% of the time they spawn.

I do quite fine in most props once spaded against the average sim lobby. I struggle against squads. In RB, I do worse because I hate the controls there.

Early missile jets I suck in. Early gunfighter jets don’t exist as far as sim MM is concerned (il-28 hunt or bust)
