I don’t understand why it’s so underrated. I’ve only flown about 30 missions so far, but hardly anyone even tries to engage you. I get why something like the F-86 might not, but even aircraft on the level of the F-104 tend to ignore you. The only real threat is when a Lightning gets on your tail — you can’t outrun it, and outmaneuvering it is out of the question. Most of the times I’ve been shot down only after my team had already lost, while trying to land.
