XM has LRF and better gun depression.
It also has trolly armor.
They aren’t the same.
Still,the Xm its based on the Gepard,they share overall the same capabilities so if you bump one i want the other to be bumped up too
I said something wrong,not the ENTIRE tank its based on the gepard,just the guns
The Gepard can spray and pray out of corner (which works insanely well) since the guns are placed on the sides
Troll armor its cause volumetric its shit but thats another topic
If you somehow put the XM at 8.7 right now…you still wouldnt really fix anything of WHY the tank its problematic
all SPAAs around that BR are OP as hell.
AP needs to be removed from SPAAs

I suggest adding your thoughts here:
Just because you have some unrealistic expectations doesn’t mean it should be that way.
They aren’t the same vehicles and can be at their own BRs, claiming otherwise is just ridiculous.

It still affects it’s performance in the game.
It would start seeing better vehicles more often that would balance it out.

I agree, the Gepards should be nerfed.
The side with the tracking radar will eat up APHE and weaker APDS without destroying the ammo rack, so only the gunner optic side is a reliable place to ammorack the XM246 frontally.

It literally doesn’t though.
It’s kind of in the same situation as the Abrams with its turret basket, where it’s hard to kill with 1 shot, but the tank might as well be dead if penetrated. I rarely die in 1 shot, but I rarely live after being shot.

once again,i dont see how its THAT broken,uses the same guns as the gepard,if you get shot…sure you might not die but you cant shoot back either XD
it has no place imo to be at 8.7,it has literally nothing else beside LRF and troll armor (which btw this Indie game developers should probably look into it)

Nerf the BMPT first
its 11.7 or like 11.3 iirc…i hate that gaijin instead of actually fixing the issues,all they do its bump their BR till they kill the vehicles all together or make it even more broken
They have no intention of nerfing the BMPT
To be honest I would prefer if the XM246 went up high enough to get its historical APDS and HE-VT shells. The entire reason the US got the XM246 was to fill the 8.0 SPAA gap, but there are a few other choices to fill that gap if need be. In the program that eventually chose the M247, there were several competing designs that didn’t make the cut to the XM246 and M247, a couple of which could fill the gap if the XM246 moved up.
I know,thats why they always increase vehicle BRs instead of putting work into modelling it properly
