If you have trouble shooting down planes with Gepard then you’re just simply bad at using it.
I don’t have trouble shooting them down, they have trouble shooting me down. Lost count of how many times I’ve gotten to drop my 4000lb tea bombs on unsuspecting 8.3 tanks when a Gepard is around. Just some simple maneuvering throws the firing solution off.
A delay to what?
Has Gaijin acknowledged the topic of the Flakpanzer 341 in any way?
I see posts about it on social media, people getting 15 kills and nukes in GRB
Are they not listening to the community? Are the CMs on vacation?
But when the XM800T gets nukes, it’s the most OP thing ever according to Germany mains.
no
Why should they? There is nothing to “acknowlege”. That has nothing to do with the Flakpanzer 341. There is only 3 things: Buggy interaction between shells that is aparent when you shoot lots of them (nothing special about the Flakpanzer 341), Skill issue (pretty much only veterans have the Flakpanzer 341) and an great overhype because many youtubers (usually also good players, since they play it a lot anyway) hyping it up and many people follow it.
And like @Pangolin_Fan writes, that same statement can be made about differen vehicles from different nations, when its just a “problem” for some who happen to see it for themselfs, while it isnt something gamebreaking (except the bugs that is).
I killed a T95 in like 4 shots into its Cupola frontally last night with the 341. It’s definitely broken.
And? Its not like many other vehicles cant do the same? And what, do you want it uptiered to 7.0? So it can see it more often? Along more other light tanks? You cant just push the BR of things up, if you dont see them fit.
Can’t also forget the idiotic common community opinion that “its an AA, it shouldn’t kill tanks!”
That is just as much of a problem as the actual bugs the Coelian is revealing to us all.
From a German shooting range, many years ago. Decomissioned tank vs Gepard (HEI-T).
Also HEI-T @ shooting range, they obviously practised alot to shot at ground targets. They even included a dual feed mechnism to switch ammo type from HEI-T to APDS. So its real, they really had ground fighting in mind. Dunno what the reasoning is here.
Hope you don’t misunderstand me - I fully support AA killing tanks. I think current maps and objectives frankly encourage it. And I think AA should not be punished for killing tanks. Most of them are actually lacking their best possible gun ammunition (including the Coelian), so we really haven’t even seen the true power the machines should have.
If you are refering to the H-Pzgr. i must disappoint you, with switch from Heeres ammo (~130mm length shells) to Kriegsmarine ammo (L/4,1 = 152mm shells) it most likely lost them as well, if it wwas ever envisioned for them, conciddering that with conventional AP it would already be sufficient.
Tho yeah, i do have a report for Ostwind and Ostwind II for them.

I had heard the BK 3,7 rounds were identical, are they not the same?
Compared to the Flak 18-44? Yes. The Bk 3,7 IS simply a Flak 18 upside down with 2 connected 6 round ammo frames with a remote trigger. And the Flak 18-37 is the same gun just different mountings. They use the ~130mm rounds with 37x265mmB Casing, the Gerät 341 however 152mm rounds with 37x280mm casing.
Interesting, thank you very much for the information.
What Gepard spam??
No lol every other AA at the br is better besides the marksman
makeing a delay to the rader. like doing so the receving the data form the plane to the rader so you can see the help shoot icon when loucked on too
CAS haters with try to convince you that randomly squirting in a T-10M’s face with 35mm and it just inexplicably exploding is perfectly fine.
And XM246 (although it’s still wildly OP lmao)
