Physical model for the LS1000J is the GB/TG-1000. I saw a somebody with them equipped earlier

pl5c is so disappointing, in the game it is a super r60m, but in reality it is superior to aim9l/9m

If true then we should make an issue to request renaming to GB/TG-1000
i think there was some issue with gajjin insisting that it went by a different name despite evidence
The funny thing is that the mod seem to have no idea what the developers are doing too. In one of the closed issue asking for GB series bomb, the mod said the developers have no intention of adding GB series bomb lol
In some obscure site, it is mentioned that PL-9N is the ship based version. No idea if it is true. Or it is just typo and Gaijin means 9C?
Yeah I saw that. Clearly someone in gajjin is aware of these weapons, they made the model, but then when it comes too names there seems too be some serious misunderstandings or miscommunications
Well if that true then I’m not sure why it in war thunder, because I doubt we’re gonna see PLA navy stuff anytime soon. On what planes do the PL-9 show up? It can fit in the same mounts as PL-5’s right?

No PL-9 is export only and PLA does not use it. Basically since PLA was unable to export PL-8 due to agreement with Israel, the PL-9 was made for export. It should have comparable spec to PL-8

well its based on the airframe of the PL-5, and you dont have too take my word, just look at it
it uses the same seeker as the PL-8 IRL and overall frame is mostly custom tho its unrelated to the PL-5 entirely its much larger diameter like a PL-8 (since seeker is large too)

yes PL-9C should be similar to PL-8B
Then hopefully china gets it sooner than later. The JF-17 would be a good multi role plane for it too come with in my opinion

Hope the devs can take Chinese tech tree more seriously. It is a tech tree with so much potential.
From how they made the JH-7A I assume they rushed till the last minute to finish it.
With the lack of accuracy with the name of the laser-guided bombs, the mess with the name of Chinese missiles, the missing radar modes, and the failure to provide a competitive loadout for 11.7 as planned in the Dev server data mine and have to be moved to 11.3, it comes so “unpolished” and doesn’t quite meet our expectations.

well i can say that the bombs feel very nice, and while the targeting pod has the same physical model as the Q-5L, it has all ready been acknowledged. Also the thermals on the pod are pretty nice, and in general its a big leap for chinese CAS, and hopefully it gets even more loadout options into the future.

The KH-29Ts were passed along as a suggestion to the devs, so fingers crossed. As a side note, I’ve only been able to briefly fly it in test drive, but is the JH-7A actually pretty dang good in A2A right now? It felt pretty excellent to fly. I just wish it had more cannon ammo.
