i hope the pl5c keeps its small fov plus pl8/aim9L flare “resistence” so it could at least be similar to pre buff magic 2

I can’t understand. Is the anti-interference capability of missiles that are more advanced than the PL5B inferior to the PL5B? What do you think, gaijin?
They also added PL-9 with FoV of 3 degrees (slightly lower than AIM-9L’s)
The manufacturing quality of the seeker materials and how thin they can be made often has a big impact on the FoV of the missile. The PL-5C is not yet a crossed array, it makes sense that the seeker would not be of similar quality to the AIM-9L yet. The initial PL-9 model improving on this makes sense.

Well from what I’m seeing, in game the PL-5C should feel similar in flair resistance too the 9L yes?
It might seem similar, but it is certainly worse. The increase in FoV to the same levels as R-60M.
Hmmm, then the missle hardly seems like a big leap, I would of been hoping for the PL-5EII at this point. Especially if the plane is going too sit at 11.7 with only 4 Fox-2’s, but I guess we’ll have too wait and see

- BR is 11.3 now in the game
- The so called LS1000J has laser+IOG guidance so capability wise should be similar to GB1000, just not sure what is the physical model used
- No Kh29T, KD-88 or other armament proposed in the past few days as expected

Sooo… about that flight model…this thaing kinda feels like a UFO right now, and I have no idea if it’s supposed too be this good to not. IRL I think it’s G limit is around 7, so in war thunder that should be 10.5ish, but rn you can pull 13 easy, and the thaing feels way damn lighter than it should for a plane of this size. So don’t be surprised if the FM changes soon. One of the downsides too a plane not having any testing time on dev server

You mean AA missile? No photo evidence of the inner wing pylons carrying any AA missile. Only some magazine illustration show it can carry more than 4.
